We’re still smiling. 🥹💗

Saturday was everything we hoped it would be and more.

To everyone who came by to celebrate our 5th birthday with us… thank you. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning, just started your journey, or simply stopped in to say hi, you made the day so incredibly special.

Five years ago, our goal was simple: to create a place where women and men felt truly listened to, supported, and received the kind of care they deserve. We never imagined we’d be standing in a clinic full of so many amazing people celebrating this milestone together. Watching this little dream of Dr. Amy’s grow into the community it is today has been the greatest privilege.

A huge thank you to The Southerly Biscuit Co. for the delicious biscuits, Common Tides Coffee Trailer for keeping everyone caffeinated, Little Loaf Bakery & Schoolhouse for the incredible baked goods, and to all of the incredible local businesses that donated raffle prizes. Surprise! There’s someone we want you to meet, and we know you’re going to love her.💗

✨ Introducing PPPT’s incredible new addition… ✨

Dr. Meghan Burr, PT, DPT! 🤍

Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Meghan decided she’d had enough of the snow and headed south to attend High Point University, where she earned her B.S. in Exercise Science. She later completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University on Long Island before making her way back to North Carolina. After a few years in Charlotte, she and her fiancé recently bought a house and are officially calling Wilmington “home!” 🏠 📍

Dr. Meghan started her career in outpatient orthopedics before discovering a passion for pelvic health. She’s especially passionate about caring for an often underserved population and loves creating a space where patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable sharing their stories. To Dr. Meghan, there is truly nothing better than helping someone get back to living life with confidence. 👏🏻💪🏻

She has completed multiple Herman & Wallace pelvic health courses, is trained in dry needling, and has experience with running analysis. Whether you’re hoping to get back to running, lifting, chasing your kids, or simply feeling more like yourself again, Dr. Meghan takes a holistic, whole-body approach to help you get there. 🧘‍♀️☮️

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll probably find her out on a run, walking her crazy hound dog Juju, traveling to visit family, or getting lost in a good book. 💗📚🐶

Fun fact: Last year, Meghan and her fiancé earned their American Sailing Association 101 certifications on Lake Norman! ⛵️

Every mom deserves support during pregnancy and recovery after birth. 💞

As an athlete, Amanda wanted to return to the activities she loves after a high-risk pregnancy. Through prenatal support and postpartum rehab, we helped her navigate the physical demands of pregnancy, and recovery.

Now she’s back to playing volleyball, and that’s exactly why we do what we do. 🏐❤️

Helping others return to the things that matter most to them is one of the greatest privileges of our job. We are PROUD of you, Amanda! 💪🏼
