On Monday, September 21st, I'll be sitting down with Cheyenne Gasaway, CNP, BC-ADM, from the Clinton Regional Hospital Diabetes Clinic, located at 630 W. Main Street, Suite 300. The office can be reached at 937-283-9707.

Our Diabetes Clinic has been operating full time for about a year now, and we’ve had a great response from our community. Cheyenne and I will talk about some of the most common reasons patients come to the clinic, continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), and Ozempic and other GLP-1 medications. We’ll also sort through some of the facts, realities and misinformation surrounding these medications. And we’ll talk about prediabetes and what you can do to help keep it from progressing to diabetes.

Remembering September 11, 2001

Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives forever changed by the events of September 11, 2001.

Today, we honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger, the military members and civilians who answered the call to serve, and the countless families and communities who carried the weight of that day.

We remember the courage, compassion and selflessness that emerged in the face of unimaginable loss.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
