today is world maternal mental health day

and not every struggling mom looks like she’s falling apart

sometimes she looks like the mom
who never sits down
who triple checks everything
who smiles through it
who keeps showing up anyway

sometimes it’s intrusive thoughts
constant worry
rage she feels guilty for
or feeling disconnected from herself completely

motherhood is beautiful
but that doesn’t mean it’s always mentally easy

and too many moms suffer quietly
because they’re afraid of being judged
seen as “ungrateful”
or like they’re failing

but struggling does not make you a bad mother

you are not alone
you are not broken
and asking for help is not weakness
