Nobody has ever sat in my chair and asked to look overdone. So explain to me how so many people end up that
way. I have never had a man tell me he was hoping to look like he had work done. Not once. Nobody asks for
the lips. Nobody asks to look like a different person wearing his own face. What he says is that he wants to look
less tired. He wants to look like himself on a good day. And then somewhere between what he asked for and
what he got, something went wrong. It is not the product. It is what happens when nobody asks the second

You asked for something and they said yes immediately, and everybody around you called that good service. Do not click away yet, because once you see the economics behind a fast yes you will never hear one the same way. I am Dr. Los. I am a physician in Wilton Manors, and I will tell you what a procedure cannot do before I tell you what it can. Most of the time yes is the right answer. It is the answer I give on most days. But a yes that arrives that fast is a yes that did not require any information. Nobody looked at what you take. Nobody asked how you healed the last time somebody put a needle in you. And a no is expensive. It costs a booking, a deposit, an afternoon. A yes costs nothing. My proof is my calendar. I have empty days. I would rather have empty days than a full room of people I am treating off a form I skimmed. The fastest yes in the room is usually the one that cost the least to give. There are people I turn away. It has nothing to do with whether they can afford it and everything to do with
something they said in the first ten minutes. Sometimes a man describes the thing he wants changed. Then he
describes it again. And again. And the thing he is describing keeps moving. Nothing has ever been quite right.
Every procedure was supposed to be the one that finally fixed it. He has had many. He wants more. I am not
going to diagnose anybody from across a table. But there is a well documented condition where a person’s
distress about how he looks does not improve when the way he looks changes. Sometimes it deepens. And there
are providers who keep saying yes to that. Knowingly or not. So sometimes I say no. Respectfully. And I tell
him where a better conversation might start. That conversation is harder than any procedure I do. Has anyone

Stay with me here, because this is the one question that separates a practice from a storefront, and it takes four seconds to ask. I am Dr. Los. And here is the honest part that nobody puts on a poster. The rare thing can happen to a careful provider, on a good day, doing everything right. So the question was never whether somebody can promise you a perfect outcome. Anybody who promises that has already told you something about himself. Here is mine, and it is not a testimonial. There is a conversation I have before we start, and it is the least popular part of my job. A man comes in
holding a photo. Sometimes it is himself, twenty years ago. Sometimes it is somebody else entirely. And I have
to tell him what a treatment can address, and what it cannot. Skin loses support. Skin also changes in quality.
Those are two different problems and they do not answer to the same tool. Nobody wants to hear it. I have
watched a man’s face fall across the table from me. I could just say yes. It would be an easier afternoon for both

Was it held at the right temperature every step between the manufacturer and the room you are sitting in. There is a legitimate supply chain for these products, and there is product that arrives outside of it. I am not going to teach you to spot the difference from a chair, because you cannot. This whole industry is competing to get you in and out faster. I have never understood what we think we are
winning. Speed matters in an emergency. I spent years in medicine where minutes were the whole game.
Nothing I do now is an emergency. Nobody gets worse because I took another twenty minutes. Here is what
rushing buys. More people through the door in a day. That is the entire benefit and none of it lands on the
person in the chair. Here is what it costs. The question I did not ask. The history I did not take. The hesitation
on a man’s face that I would have caught if I had been sitting down instead of already standing up. A full

Most people go quiet when I ask whether anybody in that building ever asked them why. Do not scroll past this one, because the answer changes what you should be looking for in every clinic from here on. I am Dr. Los. They asked how much, and whether you had been before, and how you would like to pay. All reasonable questions. None of them tell anybody what you are actually hoping for. Here is my proof, and it is not a photograph. It is that two of the three ways a consultation with me can end make me no money. We book something. We do not. Or I send you somewhere else first.
