New Healing Loudly Podcast Episode 🎙️

Parenting neurodivergent kids is incredible… and sometimes completely exhausting.

If you’ve ever carried a screaming child through a parking lot, tried to figure out why a sock suddenly feels “wrong,” or felt like you’re constantly managing everyone’s emotions (including your own)… this episode is for you.

In our newest episode of Healing Loudly a Rae of Hope podcast, we talk about the invisible work of parenting neurodivergent children, the guilt parents often carry, and why it is actually okay to take a break.

Because here’s the truth:
You can love your child deeply and still need a moment to breathe.

And that doesn’t make you a bad parent. It makes you human.

If you’re parenting a child who experiences the world a little differently, I hope this episode reminds you that you are not alone in this.

Have you ever noticed how your brain can turn a small situation into a full crisis in about four seconds?

You send a text.

They do not respond immediately.

Your brain says,
“Well, clearly the relationship is over and they hate me now.”

Meanwhile the other person is just… driving.

Or this one.

Your boss emails,
“Can you stop by my office later?”

Your brain immediately begins preparing for unemployment.

Meanwhile your boss just needs help opening a spreadsheet.

Or you walk into a room where people suddenly stop talking and your brain instantly decides the conversation was absolutely about you.

In reality they were talking about lunch…

Our brains are incredible at creating dramatic storylines when we feel uncertain.

Sometimes the biggest threat is just… our imagination running a little wild.
