Every ear canal is shaped differently—and this one has a pretty dramatic curve. When we take an earmold impression, we capture the actual shape of your ear so your custom hearing protection can be made specifically for you.

Your ears aren't one-size-fits-all. Your hearing protection doesn't have to be either.

Our Sip & Socialize was held yesterday from 9-11 and we had a wonderful crowd!! There were fun conversations and great food.

Step 3: The reveal 👂🩷

And out it comes!

Once the silicone has completely set, we gently remove the impression—and now we have a detailed copy of the unique shape of the ear.

No two ears are exactly alike. A good custom fit starts with capturing yours accurately.

And this weekend, we're bringing the process to The Burl 🎶

We’ll be making Instant Custom Hearing Protection on site and taking impressions for Musician’s Plugs that can be picked up at Happy Hearing Clinic or mailed to you when they're ready.

This isn't a seminar, presentation, or sales event. It's simply a chance to get out of the house, enjoy breakfast, and spend some time with other people in our community.

Hearing loss can make it easier to sit out of conversations. We created The Sip & Socialize Community Series to make it a little easier to join back in.

Step 2: Making the impression 👂🩷

Once the foam block is safely in place, it’s time for the fun part.

We gently fill the ear canal and outer ear with silicone impression material. The material captures the unique shape of the ear so custom hearing protection can be made to fit *that specific ear.*

And yes—it really is that pink. 😂

After a few minutes, the material sets and we can remove the finished impression.

**Next up: the oddly satisfying reveal.**

Before I put impression material in your ear, this little foam block goes in first! 👂

It’s called an otoblock; it creates a barrier between the impression material and your eardrum.

Custom earmolds can be used for hearing protection, musicians plugs, hearing aids and more.
