🕰️ THE CLOCK CHANGED. YOUR BODY MAY NEED A LITTLE LONGER.
We gained an hour today—but did your body get the memo?
Your body follows an internal clock called your circadian rhythm. Light and darkness help guide when you feel awake and when you’re ready for sleep.
When we change the clocks, that rhythm doesn’t instantly reset. You may find yourself waking earlier, feeling sleepy before your usual bedtime, or feeling a little foggy and out of sync.
Although “falling back” is usually easier than the spring time change, an extra hour on the clock doesn’t automatically erase a sleep deficit.
🌿 Give your body some consistency this week:
☀️ Spend time outside in natural daylight.
🕰️ Keep bedtime and wake-up times consistent.
🚶♀️ Make room for daily movement.
☕ Avoid using late-day caffeine to push through fatigue.
📱 Wind down before bed with less screen time and a calming routine.
Rest is part of caring for your health. Give your body time to adjust. 💛
