Hiya friends...
It's the night before school starts in my house and that means Megan is struggling with the transition.
It's a big one for our family.
My oldest is in college now.
The middle starts high school.
And the youngest is still in elementary.
I'm busy. You guys see that. Yous ee the late hours, long days, and markets. You ask me how I do it all.
Not well. At least not always well.
I have to know my limits, and frankly so do you.
So yesterday I packed my girls up and we went to Kevlar Coffee, got our favorite drinks, went to the mall to pick out a homecoming dress (my little horror girlie pop went a different direction and I was shocked), and out to lunch. We spent the time together because soon the shop will be open, high school activities will overwhelm our schedule, and togetherness will be fleeting.
Enjoy the last day of summer kids.
And here's to the class of 2030, I can't wait to see what high school does for you.
**Sidenote: if one of you mothers comes in my office and tells me how glorious homecoming shopping is with your daughter, you might see break out in sobs, because that was terrible... 🤣😂🤣**
