Our freezer is ready, our certification is complete, and we can officially begin accepting donated breast milk BY APPOINTMENT! 🥹💗

Every ounce of donated breast milk has the potential to make an incredible difference in the life of a baby who needs it most. From premature NICU babies to medically fragile infants, donor milk can provide vital nutrition when a mother’s own milk isn’t available.

✨ TUMMY TIME CLASS IS HERE! ✨

Join us every Thursday starting October 15th at 1 PM for a relaxed, hands-on tummy time class designed for babies from newborn through 6 months. 👶🏼💙

Does your baby fuss the moment you place them on their belly? Are you wondering whether they’re getting enough tummy time—or if you’re doing it correctly?

You’re not doing anything wrong, and your baby isn’t “bad” at tummy time! Some babies simply need more support, a different position or a more playful approach.

During class, we’ll explore:

🤍 Chest-to-chest tummy time
🤍 Tummy time across your lap
🤍 Supported positions using rolls and therapy balls
🤍 Floor positions for different ages and abilities
🤍 Side-lying and gentle transitions
🤍 Ways to use toys, mirrors, movement and sound
🤍 Ideas for babies who immediately fuss
🤍 How to recognize when your baby needs a break

Tummy time supports the head, neck, shoulders and core while helping build the foundation for reaching, rolling, sitting and future movement. But it doesn’t have to happen in only one position—or all at once!

Babies are always welcome to eat, cuddle, cry, rest or simply observe. There is no pressure for your baby to “perform.”

Come exactly as you are! Bring your baby, a blanket and a favorite toy, and we’ll help you discover tummy-time options that feel better for your family.

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. 🤍

This month is deeply personal to us at Milk Medics. Our founder, Brianne, is a loss mama to 12 babies — experiencing loss from early pregnancy, through every trimester, and infant loss.

We know there are so many families carrying babies in their hearts instead of their arms.

Throughout October, we’ll have a basket of white pumpkins at the Milk Medics clinic. If you are a loss parent, or would like to honor a baby or child who is deeply loved and remembered, please stop in and take one. 🤍🎃

No appointment needed. No explanation needed. Just a small reminder that your baby mattered, your story matters, and you are not alone.

Milk Medics is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Tiny Cuties LLC—expanding collaborative care for babies from birth through age two, both in your home and at the Milk Medics clinic!

Meet Dr. Ange McKee, DNP, NNP-BC, Founder and Clinical Director of Tiny Cuties. With more than 16 years of neonatal expertise, Dr. McKee brings advanced clinical knowledge together with warm, proactive, and unhurried care.

Her journey has taken her from scientific research and bedside nursing to becoming a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice, with experience at AdventHealth for Children, Winnie Palmer, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s.

Together, Milk Medics and Tiny Cuties will provide families with more connected support through the newborn and toddler years—bringing neonatal and infant expertise together with lactation, feeding, and developmental care.

Starting solids is exciting… but it can also come with a lot of questions.

At Milk Medics, starting-solids appointments can be completed with an IBCLC and/or SLP, depending on your baby’s needs.

We can help with readiness, oral-motor skills, positioning, pacing, texture progression, cup and utensil skills, and creating positive, low-pressure mealtimes.

NICU Remembrance Day 🤍

At Milk Medics, walking alongside NICU families is deeply personal to us.

We know the NICU is more than monitors, numbers, tubes, feeding plans, and milestones. It holds some of the greatest fear, hope, exhaustion, joy, and heartbreak a family may ever experience.

And we don’t only know that because we care for NICU families.

We have been a NICU family.

Our own sweet boy fought his way through the NICU and eventually came home with us — a moment we had prayed and waited for.

But our story didn’t end the way we hoped it would.

Our baby later passed away and went home to the sweet arms of Jesus. 🤍

That experience forever changed our family, and it is woven into the heart behind the way we care for others.

So today, we remember the babies who fought so hard.
The babies who came home.
The babies who never got to.
The babies who came home but could not stay.
The parents who learned a whole new language of medicine overnight.
The siblings and families who waited.
And the nurses, physicians, therapists, lactation professionals, and NICU teams who carried families through impossible days.

To every NICU family: your baby’s story matters. Their life matters. Their memory matters.

Today, we remember. 🤍

Sometimes you have to look back to really see how far you’ve come.

Milk Medics started with a little space, a big vision, and a heart for making sure families never felt like they had to navigate feeding and early parenthood alone.

Today, that vision has grown into something so much bigger — a team of women caring for families through lactation, feeding, oral-motor development, speech, newborn care, birth and postpartum support, education, and so much more.

The rooms have changed.
The team has grown.
The services have expanded.

But the heart behind Milk Medics hasn’t changed at all.

We’re still here to meet families where they are, listen to what they need, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care for both baby and family.

And somehow, it still feels like we’re just getting started. 🤍
