Every situation has something to teach you.
The challenge is that we often walk into rooms already carrying assumptions, expectations, fears, past experiences, and internal narratives that shape how we interpret what we see.
What if the room isn’t the problem?
What if the lens we’re viewing it through is?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that perception influences presence. The stories we tell ourselves impact how we communicate, lead, connect, and respond to the people around us.
When we pause long enough to become aware of our thoughts, emotions, and assumptions, we create space for understanding, growth, and meaningful connection.
Every situation has something to teach us.
The question is: Are we paying enough attention to learn?
