💙 A new school year is a fresh start — but that doesn’t mean we have to start from scratch.
If last school year was HARD, it’s understandable to go into this one hoping things will be different.
But last year also gave you information.
What was difficult? What did the school try? What seemed to help? What definitely didn’t? And if challenging behavior was part of the struggle, what might your child have been trying to communicate?
Sometimes the best place to start isn’t finding a brand-new solution. It’s taking what you already know about your child and figuring out what you can learn from it.
And you don’t have to sort through all of that information by yourself. 💙
Through Little Hops School & Family Supports, I can help you make sense of what happened last year, identify patterns worth paying attention to, and think through questions and strategies as you move into the new school year.
🐰 No ABA services required.
If you’re heading into this school year thinking, “I really don’t want a repeat of last year…” — message Little Hops. Let’s talk.
And if you know a caregiver who had a tough school year last year, save or share this with them. They may need the reminder that a hard year wasn’t wasted — it gave us information we can use moving forward.
