It’s unfortunate when an employee chooses to stop reporting to work without notifying management, ignores multiple calls, emails, and text messages, and then only reaches out when payday arrives expecting an immediate response.

At Giving Better Lives (GBL), we have established policies that apply equally to everyone. Employees who resign or separate from employment are provided their final paycheck in accordance with company policy. As outlined in our employee handbook, final pay is issued by mailed check.

What is especially disappointing is when false or misleading statements about our company are shared publicly without providing the full context. GBL has proudly served our community for nearly six years, and we remain committed to operating professionally, following our policies, and treating employees fairly.

We take false statements that harm our company’s reputation seriously and will protect our business through the appropriate legal channels when necessary. Our focus will always remain on serving our clients, supporting our dedicated staff, and maintaining the professional standards that have helped GBL grow over the years.
