YOU CAN BE DEEPLY SELF-AWARE, SPIRITUALLY CONNECTED, AND STILL BE STUCK IN THE SAME DAMN PATTERNS.

Let's have a conversation the wellness industry doesn't always want to have.
After decades of working with women, I've watched something fascinating happen.

Women are very hungry.

For healing. For peace. For purpose. For connection. For God. For something that finally makes sense of what they've been carrying.

Some leave organized religion searching for something deeper.

Others immerse themselves in energy work, meditation, spiritual readings, personal development, and every healing modality imaginable.
And some get so exhausted by the promises that they reject the whole damn thing.

Different paths. Same hunger.

And I've spent much of my professional life studying that hunger through neuroscience, trauma, intuition, somatic work, and spirituality.

Lately, my own studies have challenged me to ask some uncomfortable questions, including questions about practices I've spent years exploring. Here's one that keeps coming back.

Are we actually transforming our lives, or have we become incredibly skilled at pursuing transformation?

Because awareness isn't automatically change.
Understanding your trauma doesn't mean you've resolved its effects.
Knowing your patterns doesn't mean you've stopped repeating them.
And a powerful spiritual experience doesn't necessarily mean you've built a life that reflects it.

THIS is where my work with women goes deeper.

Through adv. myo-somatic bodywork, trauma - neurocoaching, functional wellness, and honest self-examination, we look beyond the latest breakthrough to what's driving what’s happening in your brain, body, beliefs, behavior, and everyday life.

Not another quick fix.

Not another person telling you what to believe.

And definitely not another shiny modality promising to fix everything.

My work examines what's keeping you stuck mind and body and build the skills, practices, strategies and interventions create real change, lasting transformation and to move forward.

That's Rebel Wellth™. And pulling back the curtain, I’m gonna throwing out some conversations other wellness brands are afraid to touch.

Convo’s about faith. Trauma. Intuition. Spiritual bypassing and religious hypocrisy. The healing industry. And why so many capable women are still struggling to create the lives they want.

Neuroscience helps us understand how we experience life. Somatic work helps us recognize what we carry. Self-examination challenges what we believe. And spiritual discernment asks what we're placing our trust in.

Uncomfortable conversations.
Depth over performance.

SUNDAY SOUL FOOD 🖤
Depth Over Performance Series

SHE'S EVOLVING.
YOUR COMFORT ISN'T THE POINT.

Funny how everyone celebrates a woman doing the healing work.

Until her healing starts changing what they're accustomed to getting from her.

Until the woman who once explained herself to death starts speaking in complete sentences.

Until the one who kept the peace stops volunteering to be the sacrifice.

Until the woman who could always be counted on to understand, forgive, accommodate, and make everything okay starts expecting some of that same consideration in return.

Well, isn't THAT inconvenient?

A few Sundays ago, we talked about something powerful.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

But there's another side to that conversation. When a woman finally shows you who she's becoming, stop trying to force her back into who you were comfortable with her being.

Because somewhere between being a daughter, wife, mother, businesswoman, caregiver, and everybody's dependable everything, a woman can spend decades becoming exactly who the world needed her to be.

And barely recognize the woman underneath all those responsibilities.

Then life happens…
The marriage shifts.
The children grow up.
Her health demands attention.
Her career stops feeling fulfilling.
Her body starts challenging the pace she's been keeping.

Or perhaps nothing dramatic happens at all. She simply reaches a point where she can no longer ignore what she's known for years.

The life she's been maintaining and the life she actually wants are no longer the same thing.

And THAT realization can shake the damn foundation. Because real transformation isn't always pretty.

Sometimes it's uncomfortable.
Sometimes it's inconvenient.
Sometimes it means grieving the person you worked so hard to become.

And sometimes the hardest part isn't changing. It's realizing how many relationships were built around your willingness NOT to.

Here's where I want to challenge you.

Not everyone who struggles with your evolution is trying to control you. Some people genuinely love you and simply don't understand the changes yet.

But love and familiarity are not the same thing.

Neither are loyalty and self-abandonment.

And the people who have grown accustomed to your old patterns may need time to adjust to your new boundaries.

That does not automatically make your boundaries wrong.

But here's the deeper shadow work.
Sometimes the person most determined to keep you in your old identity is YOU.

The part of you that still needs approval.

The part that confuses being needed with being loved.

The part that feels guilty when you're no longer available to fix everything.

The part that has built an entire identity around being strong, capable, accommodating, and endlessly resilient.

That part doesn't disappear because you read another book, attend another retreat, or learn to regulate your nervous system.

Those patterns deserve to be understood, challenged, and worked through.

Because, you can change your circumstances and still carry the same unconscious agreements into every new chapter.

Different relationship. Same self-abandonment.

Different career. Same overfunctioning.

Different business. Same need to prove your worth.

Different life. Same woman asking permission to live it.

And THAT is why the deeper work matters.

Not so you can become someone more acceptable, more spiritual, more productive, or more impressive.

But so you can finally recognize which parts of your life reflect your values and which parts were built around fear, conditioning, obligation, and survival.

You can love people without remaining the version of yourself they prefer.

You can honor your past without continuing to live in it.

You can change your mind, your direction, your relationships, your business, and the way you care for your body.

And you can do it without turning everyone who doesn't understand into the villain of your story.

You're allowed to evolve without making your evolution a courtroom case.

You don't need a unanimous vote.

You don't need to manufacture a crisis to justify changing direction.

And you certainly don't need to make yourself miserable long enough for everyone else to agree that your transformation was necessary.

Some people will recognize you more deeply as you change. Others will miss who you used to be.

Both can be true.

But here's what I want you to sit with this Sunday.

Are you actually afraid of becoming a different woman, or are you afraid of what might happen when you stop being the woman everyone expects you to be?

WE NEED TO STOP TELLING WOMEN HOW THEY'RE ALLOWED TO BE FREE!

Because apparently, even women's liberation comes with a new f@cking rulebook. For generations, women were handed a blueprint.

Be the good wife.
Be the devoted mother.
Be the dependable employee.
Work hard. Don't complain.
Keep everyone else comfortable.
And whatever you do, don't become too much.

Then we told women they could have it all. The career. The family. The marriage. The money. The perfect body. The beautiful home.

We just conveniently forgot to mention that she'd probably be the one carrying the physical, emotional, and mental load of keeping it all together.

And when her health, relationships, energy, or sanity started taking a hit?

Society handed her another productivity hack and told her to practice better self-care. FFS.

I say, what a spectacular load of bu****it.

But something is shifting. Women are waking up to the fact that the life they were taught to want isn't necessarily the life they want to keep living.
And they're not just talking about it.

THEY'RE REBUILDING THE DAMN THING.

They're leaving corp. careers that no longer fit. Building entirely new service businesses and ways of serving people.

In my coaching business I see it all. Ambitious women not just consulting, freelancing, creating, teaching, selling, and working remotely because they want to raise their children without missing their childhoods.

They're refusing to support the delusion that doing it all is freedom and treating exhaustion as a badge of honor.

Some are building six and seven-figure companies. Others are intentionally keeping their businesses small because freedom, family, flexibility, and quality of life matter more than another zero in their bank accounts. And some are choosing to stay in corporate careers, lead organizations, earn excellent money, and change the culture from within.

None of these women need another person telling them they're doing empowerment wrong.

Because here's where this gets interesting.

Funny how the trendy think is becoming so obsessed with dismantling old power structures that sometimes we forget to question the new ones being creating.

Now society want to tell women how they should price, scale, market, earn, lead, and distribute their wealth if they want to be considered conscious or ethical.

Seriously?

We're going to replace one set of expectations with another and call it freedom?

Let's challenge exploitative business practices. Absolutely. Let's call out manipulation, predatory marketing, and business models that depend on people burning themselves into the ground. But let's stop pretending that financial success automatically equals exploitation.

Profit isn't the enemy.
Ambition isn't the enemy.
Wealth isn't the enemy.
And wanting MORE doesn't make a woman less evolved.

The real question is what she's being asked to sacrifice to achieve it.

Because there's another reality we don't talk about nearly enough.

The woman rebuilding her business might also be rebuilding her health.

She's navigating hormonal changes, chronic stress, relationship upheaval, aging parents, changing family dynamics, and a body that may no longer tolerate the pace she's spent decades forcing it to maintain.

She's questioning old beliefs about money, worthiness, productivity, loyalty, and what makes her valuable.

She's beginning to recognize where she's spent years abandoning herself just to meet expectations she never consciously chose.

And here's the part that matters.

She doesn't need another ideology telling her who she must become.

She needs the freedom, resources, health, and capacity to decide for herself.

Not every woman has the financial security, childcare, support, or opportunity to walk away from traditional employment. That reality deserves acknowledgment, too.

This isn't about glorifying entrepreneurship or romanticizing struggle.

It's about expanding the possibilities available to women instead of narrowing them.

That's what I believe we're really witnessing.

Not women losing their ambition.

Women REDEFINING what their ambition gets to serve.

Their families.
Their health.
Their creativity.
Their financial independence.
Their relationships.
Their peace.
Their purpose.
Their future.

And yes, their desire to create extraordinary wealth and extraordinary impact.

At Rebel Wellth, I don't believe a woman needs to shrink her ambition to protect her well-being.

I believe she deserves to build the physiological, emotional, mental, and financial capacity to support the life she's actually choosing the way she wants to do it.

Because sustainable success isn't about how much you can force yourself to carry.

It's about building a life, body, and business that can support what matters to you.

I’m not here to make women less powerful so they can finally feel well.

I’m here to challenge the belief that being fully in your power requires sacrificing your well-being in the first place.

And maybe the most rebellious thing a woman can do isn't reject every system she's ever lived within.

Maybe it's finally refusing to let ANY system define her worth, her ambition, or her freedom.

Including the ones claiming to liberate her.

So here's the question worth sitting with: Are you building a life that reflects what YOU actually value, or have you simply traded one set of expectations for another?

Your body can prove it without a dramatic release.

Bring your attention to the area you brace: jaw, chest, belly, or glutes. Stop and notice; connect your mind to the area of the body and exhale slowly ...notice what shifts. Maybe your jaw softened. Maybe nothing changes yet.
Either way, you’re giving your nervous system a brief moment of connection to self and safety instead of ordering yourself to push through or move on. Emotional weight can show up in many ways -tension, exhaustion, digestion issues, headaches, or even a reaction that feels bigger than the moment. The work isn’t to force it out; it’s to pause, listen for the pattern beneath the tension. We overcomplicate healing in so many ways. Magic happens in the stillness and the pause.

'I’m doing everything right, so why does my body feel like one more thing I have to manage?'

In a session, I hear the exhaustion beneath that question. The pressure to add another demand, to track harder, push harder, make the body comply, can become one more load on a system already carrying too much.

So we start with capacity.

My 365 Nervous System Recalibration™ toolkit is built around tiny, repeatable practices. The aim is to help you notice the body-level pattern and practice a new response without forcing a breakthrough. No gold medal for emotional intensity. We build more choice at a pace your system can work with.

If healing, chronic pain, trauma resolution, stress reduction and even fat loss feel loud or stuck while your mind and body are constantly running on overload, that deserves curiosity, not blame. I've been busy creating powerful resources for you. I'm getting ready to release my Recalibrate 365 digital and audio toolkit ...I want women to have a powerful and effective tool in their hands to understand their own patterns.
Their bodies.
Their brains.
Their behavior.
Their capacity.
Their health.
Their energy.
Their power.
And eventually?
To need LESS external authority, not more.

Your pain flare may be your workaround failing. Here’s why that matters.

Pain in one place can reflect a pattern happening elsewhere. Stop expecting a singular short session is gonna fix the whole damn pattern that you've re-enforced for decades. When an area is strained or guarded, your body may shift the workload to keep you moving. That compensation can help for a while, until the new “weak link” starts speaking up. The painful spot deserves attention, but it may not be the whole story. I look at the whole mental, physical, and emotional pattern anchoring that pattern in: what your system may be protecting, where demand has shifted, and what support could help you move with less strain. Stop thinking a quick fix will solve your chronic problem.

10/05/2026

The women who look the most capable are often the ones whose system never clocks out.
She handles it.
She anticipates it.
She fixes it before anybody notices there was a problem.
She keeps ten tabs open in her brain while answering, producing, organizing, remembering and making sure everybody else is okay.
And then somebody tells her to “just relax.”
Cute. 😂
Because when you’ve spent years living in overdrive, slowing down doesn’t necessarily feel peaceful at first.
It can feel irritating.
Unproductive.
Exposed.
Like you’re forgetting something.
Like you should be doing something.
So you get back up.
Check the phone.
Solve another problem.
Start another project.
Think another thought all the way to death.
And eventually “I’m just a driven person” becomes a convenient explanation for a pattern you’ve been rehearsing for years.
This isn’t about making ambition the enemy.
Hell no.
I work with ambitious women.
The issue is when drive becomes the only gear you know how to access.
When your system has learned:
pressure = performance
vigilance = safety
stillness = risk
asking for help = weakness
Of course slowing down feels hard.
And this is why I’m fascinated by what happens underneath the behavior.
Not just What are you doing?
But:
What keeps driving you to do it?
What are you anticipating?
What are you trying to prevent?
What happens inside you when nothing needs fixing?
That’s where things get interesting.
And no, an Instagram carousel isn’t diagnosing anybody.
But sometimes recognition gives us the first little crack of daylight.
So I want to know something.
Which one hits you hardest?
A. Overthinking
B. Rest guilt
C. Can’t switch off
D. Always scanning
Drop the letter.
Don’t write me a dissertation. 😂
I want to see where the women in this room actually are.

How I turn a DOXA report into a care plan you can use:

Your genes can offer useful clues. They are not your whole story, and they are not a stand-in for nervous-system support.

I review the report across its seven health areas, then connect those findings with your symptoms, health history, and the patterns I’m seeing in your body. That context matters. A nutrition or supplement recommendation should fit the person in front of me, not become a generic prescription based on a DNA result alone.

The DOXA NutriGenomics panel looks at genetic variations called SNPs. I use that information as one piece of a personalized care plan, alongside the body-based support your needs may call for. The goal is a plan that accounts for how you’re built and what you’re actually navigating.

Your genes are one piece of the picture. The plan has to meet the whole you.

Regulation is not a state. It’s a RANGE.
The nervous system regulation conversation has gotten so trendy it’s damn near lost the plot.
Somewhere along the way, “regulated” became:
calm.
soft music.
deep breaths.
perfect boundaries.
never getting rattled.
sitting in your beige living room looking emotionally enlightened.
That is not real life.
You can be pi**ed off and regulated.
You can cry and be regulated.
You can shake.
Raise your voice.
Feel your heart pounding.
Need space.
Feel grief, fear, desire, anger, excitement.
Regulation does not mean the nervous system never activates.
It means you have enough capacity and flexibility to move through activation without permanently losing access to yourself.
That’s the piece people keep f up.
The goal isn’t to eliminate the wave.
It’s to build a system that can ride it, respond to it, recover from it, and return.
Because calm is one nervous system experience.
Regulation is your ability to have a whole damn range of experiences without being hijacked by every one of them.
And sometimes regulation looks nothing like calm.
Sometimes it looks like:
“I’m furious, and I’m not abandoning myself.”
“I’m scared, and I can still make a decision.”
“My body is activated, and I know what to do with it.”
“This hurts like hell, and I can stay here without shutting myself down.”
That’s capacity.
That’s resilience.
That’s regulation in actual life.

Did your pain ease on a quiet week, then return when life got demanding?

That flare doesn’t automatically mean you undid your progress. Sometimes your body’s protective pattern responds to renewed stress or load. The mistake is treating the painful spot as the whole story, or assuming your body has failed. I work with the pattern, not disconnected symptoms, so we can ask what your system is being asked to carry and what support it needs. Healing is NOT a straight line.
