This year changed me in ways I didn’t ask for.

I unexpectedly lost my mom, and nothing has felt stable since. Grief has been loud, quiet, exhausting, confusing, sometimes all in the same day. I’ve learned how much you can miss someone and still have to keep moving.

I know I’m not alone in this. If you’re carrying loss into the new year, I see you. I see the quiet moments, the sudden waves of missing someone who is gone. You are not weak. You are holding on, even when it’s hard.

To my wonderful, loyal customers, thank you. Thank you for supporting The Sweet Botanist, for trusting me with your celebrations, and for letting my creations be part of your lives. Your love, encouragement, and belief in what I do mean more than words can say.

Next year is not about pretending everything is okay. It’s about building something new with the person I am now, softer, sharper, more honest. For The Sweet Botanist, that means stepping into bigger, more immersive experiences, sharing more magic than ever, and finally starting the projects I’ve been dreaming of but too scared to touch.

2026, I am showing up, carrying my grief, carrying my love, carrying all of it. I will let it guide me toward creation, connection, and a life that feels alive in every way. And if you are walking into this year carrying loss, let’s move forward together.
