As August approaches, we’re getting ready to reopen and continue helping pets in our community—but right now, our shelves are empty.

We’re desperately in need of the following items
🐱 Dry cat food & litter
🪳 Flea prevention/treatments
📦 Litter boxes
🧸 Cat toys & dog toys
🧴Dog Shampoo

and any other pet essentials you can spare!

Brutus has been busy helping me update our website, sign up sheet & rule list. After our last pantry I quickly learned things needed to change ASAP.

🌞🐾 Heat Stroke Awareness for Pets 🐾🌞

With warmer weather here, it’s important to keep our furry friends safe from heat stroke.

⚠️ Signs of heat stroke include:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Weakness or stumbling
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Bright red gums
• Collapse or unresponsiveness

🐶 How to keep your pets safe:
✅ Always provide fresh, cool water
✅ Make sure they have access to shade or air conditioning
✅ Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening
✅ Avoid hot pavement that can burn paws
✅ Never leave pets in a parked vehicle—even for a few minutes

If you suspect your pet is suffering from heat stroke, move them to a cool area, offer water, and contact a veterinarian immediately.

We will not be responding to messages for at least a week & next pet pantry sign ups arent till August.
