Answer: Traditionally, the calling to become a shaman is rigorous. It often involves:
The Calling: Being chosen by spirits, surviving a near-death experience or severe illness, or inheriting the role from ancestors.

Apprenticeship: Undergoing years of intense training under a senior shaman, mastering rituals, chants, and knowledge of the natural world.

Initiation: Passing severe tests and trials to fully awaken their spiritual sight.

I became a Shaman by being chosen by spirits, surviving a near-death experience or severe illness, or inheriting the role from ancestors. All three of the above. I was notified a while back by several other Shaman's from around the World That I was a Shaman. Before that I thought I was a dimensional Spiritualist. They said the record needed to be set straight. It was a funny feeling when many different people notified me from different countries and regions to tell me what I was. Most Humbling.

By entering into altered states of consciousness, they use controlled interactions with spirits to divine the future, guide the dead, and cure illness. Most Shaman have many abilities including Healing, Psychic Abilities, and Communicating with the dead.

Key Roles and Practices Spiritual Intermediary: They bridge the gap between ordinary reality and the non-ordinary, or spiritual, realms.

Healer: Shamans are often responsible for treating physical, mental, and spiritual ailments, relying on a mix of medicinal herbs, psychological insight, and energy work.

Why does a Shaman want to me to take sea salt from their tongue in to my mouth?

Answer: In shamanic and traditional healing practices, having a participant take sea salt directly from a practitioner's tongue is typically a symbolic ritual of purification, energetic exchange, and sealing a spiritual intention. Also to nullify a curse that has been put on the individuals soul.

First Question that I got an E-Mail on. Why do Shaman's breath into someones mouth?

Answer: In shamanic and indigenous traditions, a shaman breathes or blows into someone’s mouth (a practice known as insufflation) to transfer spiritual healing power, transmit vital life force energy (prana or chi), and awaken altered states of consciousness.Also to clean the persons Spiritual energy.
