Sometimes, the mind tries to solve the whole of living all at once.
We carry the weight of yesterday
or rush into tomorrow,
forgetting the body we inhabit right now.
Placed beside one another,
the anchoring phrase “Just for today”
and the rhythmic sound of Om Mani Padme Hum offer the busy mind a softer boundary in which to rest.
Within that space, we can begin to meet anger, grief, and fear not by hiding from them, but by holding them with tenderness.
Our latest reflection, “The Sound of Presence,” explores the gentle bridge between the Reiki principles and the Buddhist mantra Om Mani Padme Hum.
Neither asks for perfection.
Both simply invite us to begin again —
right here, within this single breath 🌿
