Our residents gathered for our July Birthday Social, enjoying wine, delicious snacks, great company, and plenty of smiles as we celebrated our July birthday honorees.

The celebration also included a fun craft generously donated by Shrivers Hospice. Residents had the opportunity to paint mini canvases or create beautiful scratch art flowers and butterflies, adding their own creativity and personal touch to each project. Thank you to Shrivers Hospice for your continued generosity and for helping make our celebrations even more special.

Music has a way of bringing everyone together, and that’s exactly what happened this week!

A huge thank you to Hayley Watson Keffer for sharing her incredible voice with our Cedar Hill and Sterling Suites residents. From favorite songs to plenty of smiles, it was an afternoon filled with fun, laughter, and memories.

One of our favorite moments? Hayley even got our Activity Aide, Roberta, up singing right along with her! It was wonderful to see everyone joining in and enjoying the music together.

Thank you, Hayley, for spending part of your day with us and making it such a special visit. We can’t wait to have you back!

We couldn’t let National Hot Dog Day pass without crashing the cookout!

Cedar Hill and Sterling Suites Senior Living Director of Community Engagement, Brittany, had a great time joining in on the fun with The Oaks Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center National Hot Dog Day celebration, hosted at Trulight Ministries. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with good food, great conversations, and even better company!

Thank you to The Oaks for inviting us to be part of the celebration and to TruLight Ministries for hosting the event. We always enjoy opportunities to connect with our wonderful community and spend time with our neighbors.

A few dice, piles of colorful chips, and plenty of laughs made for a fun afternoon here at Sterling!

Our residents gathered around the table to play a lively game of Left, Right, Center with our friends from Brookfield Counseling and Recovery . Every roll brought a little suspense, a few cheers, and just enough luck to keep everyone hoping the next turn would go their way!

We always enjoy the time Brookfield spends with us and appreciate the opportunities they create for our residents to connect, visit, and simply enjoy being together. Thank you for another fun visit!

Today we're celebrating a very special milestone as one of our residents has officially graduated from outpatient therapy!

Through hard work, determination, and dedication, she was able to reach her goals and achieve this well-deserved accomplishment. Every therapy session, every milestone, and every step forward helped lead to this moment.

A big thank you to Emily and Monika for their outstanding care, support, and encouragement. We appreciate everything you do to help our residents achieve their goals!

A little creativity, a lot of color, and plenty of smiles!

The crafty ladies of Sterling spent time creating beautiful sun catchers to brighten their windows, and each one turned out as unique as the person who made it. There’s something special about seeing the sunshine shine through a handmade creation!

A big thank you to Brookfield Counseling and Recovery for joining us and leading this fun afternoon craft. We always appreciate community partners who share their time and talents with our residents.

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of crafting as they transformed everyday materials into colorful flower and butterfly creations. Each project was as unique as the person who made it, and it was wonderful to watch everyone’s creativity come to life.

Craft activities like this offer more than just a fun afternoon. They help maintain fine motor skills, encourage focus and problem-solving, provide sensory stimulation, and create meaningful opportunities for socialization. Most importantly, they give our residents a chance to relax, laugh, and take pride in something they created with their own hands.

We love seeing the smiles that come from making memories—and beautiful masterpieces—together!

We’d also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Brookfield Counseling and Recovery for sponsoring this craft. Our residents had a great time creating these beautiful flowers and butterflies, and we truly appreciate your generosity in making afternoons like this possible.

Alzheimer’s disease has touched the lives of so many families, and we’re proud to stand alongside our community in support of the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Zanesville, Ohio.

On Saturday, September 19, Team Certus Healthcare will be walking to help raise awareness, honor those living with Alzheimer’s, support caregivers, and work toward a future without this disease.
