⭐ One week ago, the Charlotte Amalie Waterfront was aglow with hundreds of Glow Walkers, Igniting the Fight Against Cancer! STEEMCC would like to thank all of our community sponsors and supporters that made this Kickoff a success. 💜

The Glow Walk was the warmup and we can't wait to see everyone out on the track! We are excited to announce the 2027 Relay For Life theme will be Superheroes Against Cancer! Lets celebrate the real heroes: survivors, caregivers, and supporters.

September inspired us to dream big. The American Cancer Society's mission is to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. This lofty goal seems achievable when we see the power of community first-hand. We had a vision for our Relay For Life Kickoff, to shine a light in the fight against cancer. That vision came to life thanks to the support of local businesses, organizations, and hundreds of glow walkers shining brightly. With all of our work at STEEMCC we aim to spread hope for a better tomorrow.

Such an energizing and inspiring evening, thank you to all who made the Relay For Life Kick Off a success. ✨

A trail of multicolored lights stretched along the Charlotte Amalie waterfront Friday evening as participants in the Ignite the Fight Glow Walk moved beside the harbor, drawing supportive honks from motorists passing by.

🚗 Make sure your child is riding safely!
There will be a FREE car seat safety check from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Edith Williams Alternative Academy on St. Thomas.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their child, vehicle, and car seat to receive individualized assistance from trained Child Passenger Safety personnel. During the event, participants will have an opportunity to receive guidance on proper car seat selection, installation, positioning, and use.

This month we recognize Child Passenger Safety Week, from September 20–26, with an emphasis on education, prevention, and ensuring that children are transported as safely as possible.
