🇫🇷

🇬🇧

When everything begins to align.

Some places have a way of making us feel that we belong.

The past few weeks have been filled with uncertainty, practical steps, meaningful encounters, and new beginnings.

Today, something feels different.

I don’t know everything this new chapter will bring, but I know I am ready to welcome it.

With gratitude.
With trust.
And with the desire to contribute, to share, and to grow here in Aix-les-Bains.

Sometimes, finding our place isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s simply about feeling, deep inside, that the time is right.

Ani 🍃

Some places ask nothing of us except our presence.

Today, I sat quietly on the shores of Lac du Bourget.

Not to search for answers.
Not to think about tomorrow.

Simply to breathe.

To receive the silence of the mountains.
To absorb the calm of the water.
To feel the warmth of the sun.

And in return, to offer my gratitude to this beautiful place and to the quiet presence that can be felt in nature when we take the time to truly listen.

Every new beginning deserves a moment of stillness.

With gratitude,

Ani 🍃

🌿 Keep growing.

One of my favorite practice spots in Lille was beneath the shade of this magnificent old tree.

After my basic training and the revision of other forms, I often chose to spend time with Crane Qigong from the Five Animal Qigong system.

In Chinese tradition, the Crane is associated with the Heart and the energy of summer—a season that encourages openness, joy, grace, and growth.

As I prepared for my move to Aix-les-Bains and the next chapter of life, I found myself returning again and again to this practice. Not because I had to, but because it brings me back to myself.

Sometimes, standing beside a giant tree, we remember how small we are—and how much support surrounds us.

🙏 A moment of gratitude from the Wudang Mountains.

Beyond the training, some of my most meaningful moments were spent in the Daoist temples along the path leading toward the Golden Summit.

At our school, every morning began with meditation, prayer, and the offering of incense before practice. Repeating this ritual day after day brought a sense of grounding, gratitude, and connection to the tradition we were studying.

In the main hall stood Taishang Laojun, the deified form of Laozi, whose wisdom continues to inspire my journey through Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Bagua, energy healing, and everyday life.

These moments reminded me that true cultivation is not only found in movement, but also in stillness.

Beyond Qi Gong, Tai Chi and martial arts, tea culture is deeply present in daily life here in Wudang.

We are introduced to different kinds of tea and the moments they are traditionally enjoyed — green tea, red tea, white tea, each with its own qualities and effects on the body and mind.

One of the teas we drink here is Wudang Dao Tea, connected to the Daoist traditions of the mountains.

A simple tea ceremony becomes a moment of slowing down, listening and presence. 🍵🌿

A moment from my training in the Wudang Mountains, shared now from Europe 🌿

Rain, clouds, silence, and daily practice… each environment teaches something different.

Deep gratitude to my Shifu, my teachers, and the beautiful surrounding nature for this experience and ongoing learning journey 🙏

🪭 Wudang Xiaoyao Fan (逍遥扇)

A fan may look delicate, but in traditional Chinese martial arts it becomes a weapon.

During my stay in the Wudang Mountains, I had the opportunity to learn the Xiaoyao Fan, the “Carefree Fan,” a form that combines fluidity, balance, focus, and martial intent.

This video was filmed at Tai Chang Temple, just above our school. Behind me is a traditional image of Laozi riding a buffalo, and inside the temple stands Taishang Laojun, one of the most revered figures in Daoism.

For me, this was more than simply learning a martial arts form. It was another opportunity to connect with the Daoist tradition that has inspired my path through Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Bagua, and now Wudang Kung Fu.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has been one of the most inspiring parts of my journey in Wudang.

I have been learning more about pulse and tongue diagnosis, digestive health, herbal medicine, medicinal teas, moxibustion and the way these approaches work together with Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Ba Gua practice.

What touches me most is the holistic view of health. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, TCM seeks to understand the whole person and restore balance.

I have personally experienced the benefits of herbal teas, moxibustion and daily practice to support Qi and Blood when energy feels depleted.

This is a path I intend to continue exploring. Alongside my training in Wudang, I have also studied acupuncture and moxibustion through Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and look forward to continuing my studies in France.

🌿 Ancient knowledge, still deeply relevant today.

A moment from my practice of Taiji Shisan Shi (Tai Chi 13) at the Purple Cloud Temple in the Wudang Mountains, China.

This traditional Daoist form is based on the classical foundations of Taiji:
the Five Steps and the Eight Energies, cultivating balance between movement and stillness, softness and structure, breath and intention.

Practicing in such an environment — surrounded by ancient temples, mountains and silence — brings another dimension to the internal arts.
Not only learning movements, but developing patience, presence and deeper listening through the body.

Part of my ongoing training journey here in Wudang 🌿

One of the styles I am currently practicing during my training in Wudang is Ba Gua, alongside Tai Chi and Kung Fu Fan.

One of the beautiful teachings behind Ba Gua is the symbolism of the circle.

The circle represents the Dao — the universe, constant transformation, and the return to center.

As the body keeps moving, turning, and changing direction, the practice teaches the mind to become quieter and more still.

Externally movement.
Internally stillness.

A gentle reminder that life is always changing, yet we can always come back to ourselves 🌿
