👁️ Các phương pháp phẫu thuật khúc xạ bằng laser hiện nay
Hiện nay, hai phương pháp phẫu thuật khúc xạ bằng laser được sử dụng phổ biến nhất là Femto LASIK và ReLEx SMILE. Đây được xem là hai nhóm kỹ thuật chính của phẫu thuật khúc xạ bằng laser hiện đại.
🔹 Femto LASIK
Trong phương pháp này, laser femtosecond tạo một vạt giác mạc mỏng (flap). Sau đó laser excimer tái tạo hình dạng giác mạc để điều chỉnh cận thị, viễn thị hoặc loạn thị. Sau khi hoàn tất điều trị, vạt giác mạc được đặt lại vào vị trí ban đầu.
Đường cắt trong phương pháp này dài khoảng 20 mm và thời gian phẫu thuật thường khoảng 10–12 phút cho cả hai mắt.
🔹 ReLEx SMILE
Trong kỹ thuật này, laser femtosecond tạo một thấu kính nhỏ (lenticule) bên trong giác mạc và thấu kính này được lấy ra qua một đường rạch rất nhỏ khoảng 2 mm. Phương pháp này không cần tạo vạt giác mạc.
Nhờ đường rạch nhỏ hơn nhiều, ReLEx SMILE làm ảnh hưởng đến giác mạc ít hơn. Đường rạch ngắn hơn khoảng 10 lần so với Femto LASIK, vì vậy sau phẫu thuật giác mạc thường giữ được độ vững chắc và ổn định tốt hơn.
Ngoài ra, do không tạo vạt giác mạc, phương pháp ReLEx SMILE không có các nguy cơ biến chứng liên quan đến vạt giác mạc như dịch chuyển hoặc nếp gấp của vạt — những biến chứng có thể gặp trong các kỹ thuật Femto LASIK.
Phẫu thuật ReLEx SMILE cũng thường được thực hiện nhanh hơn, với thời gian khoảng 5–8 phút cho cả hai mắt.
✅ Cả hai phương pháp đều diễn ra nhanh chóng và giúp nhiều bệnh nhân không còn cần đeo kính gọng hoặc kính áp tròng. Việc lựa chọn phương pháp phù hợp sẽ được quyết định sau khi khám và đánh giá chi tiết.
👁️ Modern Laser Vision Correction Methods
Today, the most commonly used laser vision correction procedures are Femto LASIK and ReLEx SMILE. These technologies can be considered two major categories of modern laser vision correction.
🔹 Femto LASIK
During this procedure, a femtosecond laser creates a thin corneal flap. An excimer laser then reshapes the cornea to correct myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism. After the laser treatment, the flap is gently repositioned.
The incision used to create the flap is approximately about 20 mm, and the procedure usually takes around 10–12 minutes for both eyes.
🔹 ReLEx SMILE
In this technique, a femtosecond laser creates a small lenticule inside the cornea, which is removed through a very small incision of about 2 mm. Unlike Femto LASIK, no corneal flap is created.
Because the incision is much smaller, ReLEx SMILE affects the cornea less. The incision is about 10 times shorter than in Femto LASIK, so after the procedure the cornea generally remains stronger and more stable.
In addition, since no corneal flap is created, ReLEx SMILE eliminates the risk of flap-related complications (such as flap displacement or folds) that may occur with Femto LASIK procedures.
The ReLEx SMILE procedure is also typically faster and usually takes about 5–8 minutes for both eyes.
✅ Both procedures are quick and can help patients reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses. The choice of procedure depends on the individual characteristics of the eye and is determined after a comprehensive eye examination.
