Sỏi bàng quang là tình trạng các khoáng chất trong nước tiểu kết tinh và tích tụ dần thành sỏi bên trong bàng quang. Đây là một bệnh lý khá phổ biến ở chó và mèo.

🔍 Sỏi có thể hình thành do nhiều yếu tố như:
• Nước tiểu quá cô đặc (uống ít nước)
• Thay đổi độ pH của nước tiểu
• Thay đổi thành phần khoáng chất trong nước tiểu
• Chế độ ăn, nhiễm khuẩn đường tiết niệu hoặc một số bệnh lý khác

⚠️ Nếu thú cưng có các dấu hiệu dưới đây, hãy đưa bé đến bệnh viện thú y để được kiểm tra:
• Rặn tiểu, tiểu khó
• Đi tiểu nhiều lần nhưng mỗi lần chỉ được rất ít hoặc không tiểu được
• Nước tiểu có máu, có chất nhầy hoặc mùi hôi bất thường
• Kêu đau khi đi tiểu
• Liếm vùng sinh dục nhiều hơn bình thường

🚨 Trong trường hợp bé không tiểu được, hãy đưa bé đến bệnh viện ngay lập tức vì đây là tình trạng cấp cứu, có thể gây tắc đường tiết niệu và ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng đến tính mạng.

• Changes in the mineral composition of the urine
• Diet, urinary tract infections, or other underlying medical conditions

💔 Hành trình vượt qua ranh giới sinh tử của bé Popo

Popo – một bé chó cái 10 tuổi – được chuyển viện từ Huế vào Đà Nẵng trong tình trạng yếu, bụng chướng, bỏ ăn và có dấu hiệu nhiễm trùng nặng. Sau khi thăm khám và thực hiện các xét nghiệm cần thiết, bác sĩ chẩn đoán bé bị viêm tử cung tích mủ (pyometra), kèm theo suy thận cấp và bệnh nền tim mạch.

⚠️ Đây là tình trạng rất nguy hiểm, đặc biệt khi có bệnh nền tim, đòi hỏi phải can thiệp nhanh chóng và kiểm soát gây mê chặt chẽ. Chúng tôi đã tiến hành phẫu thuật cấp cứu loại bỏ tử cung nhiễm trùng, đồng thời điều trị tích cực để kiểm soát tình trạng suy thận, tim mạch và nhiễm trùng.

💔 Popo’s journey beyond the line between life and death

Popo – a 10-year-old female dog – was transferred from Hue to Da Nang in a condition of weakness, abdominal distension, loss of appetite, and signs of severe infection. After examination and necessary tests, she was diagnosed with pyometra, accompanied by acute kidney failure and underlying heart disease.

⚠️ This is a life-threatening condition, especially with pre-existing heart disease, requiring urgent intervention and strict anesthesia management. We performed emergency surgery to remove the infected uterus, along with intensive treatment to control kidney failure, cardiac condition, and infection.

💪 Thanks to Popo’s resilience and close medical care, she gradually stabilized and overcame the critical phase.

✨ Currently, Popo has been discharged, having her appetite again, showing improved spirit, and continuing her recovery at home.

✔ Không tự chữa tại nhà
✔ Rửa vết thương bằng xà phòng dưới vòi nước ít nhất 15 phút
✔ Đến cơ sở y tế sớm nhất có thể để được hỗ trợ kịp thời

✔ Do not attempt home treatment
✔ Wash the wound with soap under running water for at least 15 minutes
✔ Seek medical attention as soon as possible for timely assistance
