We Build…® A Top Charitable Contributor!

JC&A is thrilled to be recognized on the Boston Business Journal’s list of Top Charitable Contributors and receive a Corporate Citizenship Award for the 20th consecutive year! We’re proud to consistently rank in the top 3 across Massachusetts for volunteer hours, and to rank #2 this year!

It’s no surprise, as philanthropy is woven into our culture. All employees are encouraged to find ways to volunteer and give back to the community. Many of our teammates roll up their sleeves to help coach youth sports, participate in various donation drives like our Christmas in July benefitting the Boston Children’s Hospital, prepare and serve meals for shelters like Father Bill’s and Rosie’s Place, deliver meals to families in need, and engage in many other rewarding experiences.

The team had a wonderful time celebrating our achievement at last night’s award ceremony!

The Arizona Softball team filled Bella with love, support, and kindness
Bella first joined the team right after finishing chemotherapy, and her new teammates were ready to support her through appointments and help her adjust to life outside cancer treatment. Two years later, they have helped her grow in confidence, to the point where she is running for class president this year, and given her a new love for the sport of softball.

The team has always 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙪𝙥 for Colin.

When Colin first joined the UVA Tennis team, he was very shy and had some anxiety at the hospital. The team helped him open up and supported him at important times - from hospital visits to soccer games. Last year, they won the NCAA Championship with Colin right by their side!

Colin is one of many children in the Team IMPACT program diagnosed with cancer.
