Why do I love teaching pet emergency training—especially to pet professionals?

Because in your world… emergencies don’t happen somewhere else.
They happen on your table, in your salon, on your watch.

As a former first responder, I understand how critical it is to be prepared when seconds matter.

But as a pet parent, I also know what it feels like to be on the other side—when your own dog is choking and turning blue, and you realize just how fast things can go wrong.

That moment changed everything for me.
And it’s why I’m so passionate about teaching pet professionals not just how to groom—but how to respond, lead, and act in an emergency.

You are not “just a groomer.”
You are often the only line of defense when something happens.

I’m honored to be teaching at RW GroomX, where we’ll go beyond basic CPR/First Aid and step into real-world emergency scenarios—because confidence doesn’t come from watching… it comes from doing.

Our Animal CPR Class is happening Saturday, 3/7, and this is your final call to secure a spot.

This in-person, 3-hour class covers vital signs, scene safety, CPR based on current recovery guidelines, choking and bloat response, and hands-on skills practice. Students receive a certificate of completion valid for two years.
