Cultural humility transforms the therapeutic relationship.
When clients feel respected, understood, and invited to be partners in their own care, safety and trust deepen. Practicing intrapersonal cultural humility means looking inward (examining our own cultural lens, biases, values, and limits) while staying open to feedback without defensiveness.
This work isn’t about having all the right answers. It’s about curiosity, accountability, and collaboration in the room.
