In this weeks flow we became grounded and present by activating our root chakra - MULADHARA. Our root chakra represents the element of Earth and survival. With every inhale our hearts lifted to the Sun and with every exhale we grounded down into the Earth.
"Like a tree you have to find your roots and then you can bend in the wind"

At 6:30am we enjoyed an ashtanga yoga practise. A perfect way to start the day! There is a cloud of mystery and falsehoods passed around that keeps many people from trying this style. That it is too hard, rigid and boring!
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois said it best:

An energetic and fun yoga HIIT this morning at 6:30am! We boosted our metabolism and firmed out cutie b***y! Yoga alone does not fire up those fast twitch muscle fibres so we did just that today in this high intensity workout!

Another beautiful flow this morning! Did you know that we hold a lot of emotional stress and tension in our hips? We opened that basement today and released any tightness with compassion. That space is now a temple again!🤩🥰

In tonight's flow we brought suppleness to every link of the chain! Did you know that tight hamstrings are the culprit of lower back pain? Increased flexibility in the hamstrings decompresses the spine!

Great Yoga HIIT session again today which allowed heat rate to rise and the bodies natural happy hormone ENDORPHINS to be released! Every day you get on your yoga mat is a great day!
