I’ve been having more and more conversations with women who feel like they’ve “lost their edge” during perimenopause.
Not in a dramatic way. Just enough to notice.
Energy shifts, mood feels less predictable, and confidence can take a hit. For many, there’s also a sense that their body isn’t as reliable as it once was.
We often focus on the physical side of perimenopause, but the mental health impact is just as significant.
I’ve written a piece about what I’m seeing clinically, and why strength based exercise can be a really important support during this stage of life.
Not as a quick fix, but as a way of rebuilding trust in your body, confidence, and a sense of capability.
If this resonates, you might find it helpful.

The impact of perimenopause on mental health is real. Strength training can help, ohysically and psychologically.
