The full moon in Aquarius arrives just after 2am on 30th July here in New Zealand. The full moon is always a particularly powerful time and personally my favourite moon phase. Here are some of my favourite rituals to utilise the energy of the full moon:

★ Reflect on the previous month- what have you done well? What are you proud of? What have you learnt?

★ Release- What do you want to let go of? Write a list of anything that is heavy on your heart, mind or soul on a piece of paper and then burn it, scattering the ashes safely to symbolise the release.

★ Make Moon water with your specific intentions- place the written intention under the vessel of your choice and place it somewhere exposed to the moon

★ Cast a spell 🕯️🪄

This particular full moon is in the sign of Aquarius and to me, this full moon relates to authenticity, community and wider networks. How can you be more of your most authentic self? Evaluate your community and wider circle- do they feel in alignment with you? Is there something you would like to call in to these circles?

Aquarius is the water barer ♒️ so perhaps evaluate where you are pouring your energy- is it reciprocal? Are you being respected and appreciated for the love you give, the way you show up for others? Are there other areas of your life that need attention?

This full moon could also be a good time to think about your legacy, or the impact you want to have on the people around you, the people you work with.

This could also be an ideal time to think about your work at a more collective level too. Sometimes we get so focused on the fine details that we miss the wider impact our actions have.

And if you are too tired to cast spells or make moon water- that’s okay too, sometimes simply gazing at the moon and reflecting in your mind can be just as powerful too.

You are being asked to release control, release the inner criticism, the self doubt, the second guessing, the worrying too much about every little thing. Trust your own process, your own individual journey. You can’t micromanage your life, let yourself live a little bit. Give yourself the same grace that you give everyone else.

Be mindful of your own energy, and the energy you feel. You might be carrying things that were never yours to carry to begin with. Release the burdens that don’t belong to you.

Make space for your own emotions, your own feelings. Call back your own power. You might be so lost in catering for everyone else, worrying about everyone else, that you’ve lost yourself in the process. Come back to yourself 🌀

Trust where your intuition is pulling you, take the next step and the next step will appear ✨
