We are finally towards the end of our journey, we have about two more months of doctors appointments but only two more chemotherapy appointments!! which is amazing for us all, she is ready to go back to normal and we have just been so busy with her dad and i both going back to work. she tells us everyday how much she can’t wait to be healthy again. ❤️

We got our numbers back, her platelets dropped below what it needs to be at. we are waiting for her transfusion, this means that she doesn’t get quite the break we were hoping for. the platelets they will give her only last three days so she has to come back in three days to get more platelets to last her through the weekend and another three days to check on them again. keep us in your thoughts and prayers that they come up so she can stop coming every three days!

As some may know we have landed ourselves back at the hospital due to a fever and infection but she is doing a lot better and we get to come home for the weekend! Thank you so much to everyone for the well wishes, prayers, donations, shares, and on going support. We could not make it without your support!

I wanted to share a link for remi’s christmas list since i have been asked a few times ☺️ they are a wide variety of things on her that she would love. small or big she loves any “prizes” she gets!

On 10/16 Remi’s father was giving her a bath and noticed something sticking out. we made an appointment on 10/19 with her P*P. they did a CT & Ultrasound and they were able to tell us that it was presenting as Nephroblastoma. she had two big ones (11x7&2x4 cm) and some small ones. the big ones had taken over her entire kidney to the point that it was no longer functioning and had to take the entire thing out there were also some blood clots that were concerning the surgeon so those were scraped out. after surgery we stayed in recovery at the hospital until 10/29 we went back to get her port access surgery the following wednesday and now she has chemo once a week for 6 months. This page will be all about her journey through recovery!
