Walk #7 is done! 57,137 steps in memory of Canadians lost to the opioid crisis since 2016.

Next walk on Friday, August 14 in Hamilton/Burlington but before then, come see me tomorrow at the Lansdowne Market between 9:00am and 3:00pm and on Sunday, August 9 at Stittsville Market at the Barn.

Just a few changes and the sign is mine!

As I was walking down River Road, the The Merry Dairy ice cream truck drove by and didn't stop😥 About 2 km later, I saw a sign for ice cream at Gees Bees Honey Company and I couldn't pass it by! Not part of my diet but it did put a smile on my face😁

Just about finished with the Barrhaven leg of my walk and just past the halfway mark. I was joined by Councillor David Hill for most of Barrhaven and will shortly be turning north, heading to my final destination at Ottawa City Hall.

Over 16km behind me I've just arrived in Barrhaven, approximately 30 minutes ahead of schedule!
