The woods are full of beautiful Trametes versicolor! Also known as Turkey Tails, because, well, they look like turkey tails! One of the most common mushrooms you will find, found on dead and dying wood fall and stumps.
Very medicinal when made into a tincture. Can also be used for tea, and in dying wools and paper! Aren't the gorgeous?!

Welcome!

When I am not sleeping or at work, I can generally be found outside. Foraging the land, learning nature's secrets, and sharing knowledge.

This community page is to keep members aware of the hikes and classes I will be offering, as well as the products I may have for sale.

I will also be adding information about what Mother Nature is showing off in Southeastern Massachusetts. Including photos and educational information.

I will link events that are NOT run by me, but may be of interest to others, including hikes and educational opportunities.

Wildcraft recipes, photos, maps, reviews of trails and suggested reading will all be added regularly.
