You carry the ability to heal within you ~ but you do not have to heal alone.

Healers, Elders, practitioners, family and community can guide us, hold us and help us reconnect with what already lives within.

Healing is a relationship. It is not about giving our power away, but being supported to return to it.

There is no single healer or one pathway. Spirit can meet us through many people, practices and ways of knowing.

The universe is bigger than any one of us ~ and we are all part of it.

We welcome all to our Circle, at any moment in time and chapter of your life.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us.

Hey beautiful people 🌕✨

Let’s take a look at the remaining Full Moons for 2026.

It’s been a huge journey already, and I hope this year has held moments of kindness, gentleness and growth for you. May the intentions you’ve carried, particularly those prayed in goodness, unity, healing and harmony, continue to find their way into the world.

We’ll be meditating together around each of these Full Moons for the remainder of the year. 🌿

A little note for our Australian community: the dates and traditional Moon names in this graphic come from Northern Hemisphere traditions, so they don’t necessarily reflect our seasons or Country here. We extend our deepest respects to all traditional practices held and guided by all nations as ritual warriors and witnesses. They can still be a useful guide for preparing for the Full Moon, particularly from the day before.

See you under the moon 🌕🕊️🌏❤️🌿✨

🌿 Message from Maylene: Cancellation 🌿
We feel so blessed to be part of Kummargi yulendj gahadba – Mindful Mob: Awakening Sleep Spirits on Country.

Join the movement Monash University Performing Arts Centres (MPAC)

My little one had a big procedure last week and is still on the mend. I had hoped she would be well enough for me to lead today’s workshop alongside my sister Ko Irihipeti ahau, but unfortunately, she has had another rough night and needs her Mama close by today.

I’m so sorry we can’t be there and send all my love to everyone gathering on Country today.

We extend our deepest respects to N’Arweet Carolyn Briggs AM, whose love and wisdom immensely inspire and shape us. Thank you for bringing this special movement to fruition.

I will continue at home offering a distant meditation towards the Festival, all its guests and our lands.

The Mindful Mob Knowledge Library 📚🌿

One of our greatest achievements this year has been curating our healing library ~ bringing together medicine, knowledge, stories and ideas from around the world.

Indigenous knowledges, traditional healing, spirituality, plants, psychology, philosophy, culture and different ways of understanding what it means to be human.

A growing collection for our diverse community, practitioners and young people to learn from, reflect on and stay curious about.

Stories are medicine. We encourage every reader to immerse yourself in all wonders of the world.

Today is the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples! 👣🌏❤️

This year’s theme, “Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being,” celebrates our Indigenous midwives, birth workers and the beautiful birthing traditions that have been carried through our communities for generations. We honour the knowledge, care and cultural practices that have welcomed our babies into the world for thousands of years.

Our spiritual health and the continuation of our healing ways remain central to our work at Mindful Mob Wellness Institute. We thank our healers, knowledge holders and community for being part of this journey with us.

Happy Friday, Mindful Mob ❤️🌌

Meditation is an ancient practice that people have used for centuries to calm the mind, regulate the body and find stillness.

And you’ll find forms of meditation across many cultures, practised in different ways.

In our cultures, we have our own ways of slowing down and becoming still. Dadirri, or deep listening, is one beautiful example ~ a form of listening and meditation deeply connected to Mother Earth, Country, our plant relatives and the world around us.

Today, meditation can be a really useful tool for mob.

We carry stress. Cultural load. Family and community responsibilities. Work. Grief. Advocacy. Sometimes we spend so much time looking after everybody and everything around us that our bodies stay switched on.

Meditation gives us a moment to come back to ourselves.

A few minutes to breathe.
To let the body soften.
To notice what we’re carrying.
To give our nervous system some quiet.

You don’t have to meditate perfectly. You don’t have to empty your mind.

Just find a moment of stillness and breathe.

Meditate to regulate.

Our old people understood the importance of stillness and listening. Maybe in this busy world, we need those moments more than ever.

Happy Children’s Day to our precious little ones: The Treaty Generation 🖤💛❤️💙💚🤍

This Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day, we have an opportunity to reflect on something remarkable.

Across Victoria, our Aboriginal children are growing up in one of the most significant periods of change since colonisation. They are the first generation of children to grow up in Victoria’s Treaty era.

That is both exciting and humbling, but it also places an extraordinary responsibility on all of us.

A gentle wind on a winter’s night. 🧡

A table filled with us and the many places we come from.

Stories shared. Hands creating. Hearts open.

A collective of collectives.

Right now, we only have this life. Let’s choose to spend a bit of it together. 🕊️🌏❤️🌿✨

What a special evening.

We had the opportunity to attend the opening of Connected Through Country, hosted by Children’s Ground at Donkey Wheel House in Naarm/Melbourne. 🦘

Children's Ground is a First Nations organisation working alongside communities through a 25-year approach that is designed, led and governed by First Nations people from Ampe-Kenhe Ahelhe, Arrente to Larrakia to Naarm. Their work centres culture, language, Country and community. An inspirational circle to be part of.

‘Connected Through Country’ showcases the work of the No Fixed Gallery collective, featuring Arrernte leaders, artists and sisters Amunda, Grace, Myra and Ashaan Gorey. Through art, the exhibition celebrates culture, kinship, storytelling and connection to Country, while celebrating beauty, earth and healing.

If you’re in Naarm, take the opportunity to visit Connected Through Country while it’s on display, and support the incredible work of Children’s Ground and No Fixed Gallery.

Congratulations to everyone who brought this exhibition to life.
