After a traumatic brain injury, Nick’s journey home was anything but simple. Transitioning from a New Jersey rehab facility to his home in Massachusetts required thoughtful coordination across providers, teams, and care settings.

With the support of his BAYADA care team, Nick’s plan of care was built on specialized rehabilitation expertise and a strong commitment to continuity. Since discharge, he has had zero infections, zero hospitalizations, and zero readmissions, helping him remain safe and stable at home.

We’re proud of Nick’s progress and deeply grateful for the BAYADA care team supporting his growing independence at home. Learn more about how adult nursing care supports clients like Nick throughout their healing journey here: bhhc.co/4nx6QN0

Rita's first career was in banking. It paid the bills, but it wasn't what she wanted.

She made the switch to healthcare because she wanted to help people directly, and she chose home care specifically because she didn't want to do the same thing every day.

She first heard about BAYADA through friends in nursing school, who told her about the continuing education and ongoing training. That's ultimately what brought her in.

Sometimes the right career isn't first path you take. Sometimes it's a new road and one that we can help you navigate.

Watch Rita's story and lean more through the link in our comments.

Anthony brings so much personality and heart to everything he does. Every Saturday, he takes part in a professional bowling league, and during football season, he’s always cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He also has a deep love for music, especially Toby Keith and the band Chicago.

One of the things that means the most to Anthony is the time he spends with his habilitation technicians, who encourage him, support him, and help him apply for job opportunities. As he looks ahead, he’s excited for his next career opportunity in retail.

We are cheering on Anthony and wishing him the very best with his job applications. We’re also grateful to Anthony and our ABLE ERC for sharing his story.

"She wants me to be a nurse. And I also want to be a nurse too."
Ada's daughter watched her mom go through nursing school while raising her and her brother. Now she wants to follow the same path, and her mom already promised to teach her.

Wayne’s passion for music, writing, and singing is at the heart of his story.

After a collarbone fracture last October, Wayne began working with his rehab team and has made meaningful progress along the way. One of the milestones he worked hardest to achieve was transferring from his hospital bed to his powerchair, a powerful reflection of his determination and resilience.

Today, we celebrate both Wayne’s birthday and Disability Pride Day. We’re proud of all he has accomplished through rehabilitation and of the heart he continues to pour into his music. Wayne even wrote an original song, “Disability Cry,” inspired by his lived experience and created to represent and uplift people of all abilities.

Another incredible milestone: Wayne has moved into his own apartment. 🏠

Watch the video for Wayne's advice to others. Thank you to Wayne and the ABLE ERC for sharing his story and inspiring our community. ❤️

Rose has been many things: an Army wife stationed in South Korea, a teacher, a mother of three, a leader who ran 40 insurance offices across the Southeast.

In 2013, a distracted driver hit her stopped car at highway speed, and everything changed.

She survived, now living as a quadriplegic. Months of rehabilitation followed, along with learning how to rebuild a life that looked very different from the one she had planned.

Today, she lives with purpose, surrounded by family, faith, and a team of nurses and caregivers who help make it possible for her to remain at home, where she wants to be.

Disability Pride Month is about recognizing that disability is one part of someone's story, not the whole story.

Rose story is a story of love, resilience, and living life on her own terms. ❤️

Thank you to the ABLE ERC for sharing her story with us.

What could make a break in the workday even better? A visit from a friendly Labrador retriever.

Our employees recently had the joy of meeting West, the Pennsauken Township Police Department’s Therapy K-9. Alongside Sergeant Adair, a 20+ year veteran of the Pennsauken Police Department and Community Policing Supervisor, West spends time bringing comfort and connection to hospitals, schools, workplaces, and community events throughout the region.

Together, Sgt. Adair and West have completed more than 100 community visits, and West has earned multiple therapy dog certifications along with his AKC Therapy Dog Advanced title.

We are so grateful to this duo for visiting us and sharing a moment of joy with our team. ❤️

Our Racial and Ethnic Diversity Employee Resource Council recently hosted students from UrbanPromise for a Career Exploration Day. Students explored different healthcare career paths, picked up real-world interview tips, and heard first-hand how a first job can grow into a lifelong career.

It was a day full of curiosity, great questions, and new possibilities. ❤️

We're proud to partner with UrbanPromise and help inspire tomorrow's healthcare professionals. The future is bright, and we're excited to keep supporting these students on their journeys.

Ada didn't set out to be an inspiration. She just wanted a better future for her kids.

Working as a home health aide, going to nursing school, and doubting herself more nights than she'd like to admit, she kept showing up anyway.

Now she's an LPN. And she's already looking toward what's next.

Learn how we can help you on your path to nursing too!

Genuinely asking people for their voice, and meaning it, changes everything.

That's the lesson BT Tabor has learned leading employee experience work at BAYADA, as she helped transform the way we listen to our caregivers and staff.

BT put it simply: "The biggest lesson for me has been that when we simply meet our people where they are and genuinely ask for their voice, it changes them and it changes us."

A nurse once told her, "Thank you for asking. It means something that you're trying to make this better for us." That's the real impact.

At BAYADA, listening to our caregivers isn't a survey checkbox. It's how we make sure the people caring for our clients feel cared for, too. ❤️
