Living automatically is holding you back.

Great moments, often, are created intentionally.

There is a constant struggle between the automatic and the intentional.

The solution is our change program based in Positive Psychology Coaching.

The first step is awareness. Noticing. Opening up, becoming alert to what's really going on both in our inner world and outer world.

Try this:

1️⃣ What repetitive thoughts or feelings have been trying to get your attention?

2️⃣ What patterns in your life are no longer serving you?

3️⃣ It's time for a wake up call, hire a coach to help you map out a strategy to heed, act upon, and grow from becoming aware.

What is nagging at your consciousness?🙏👇☺️

Here's to you making great moments happen!

What are stone foundations for your life?

We all need em. Rock solid principles, people, plans.

My number one rock is the Rock of Our Redeemer: Jesus. He is the reason TGY exists. He gave the original call to help people. So here we are. Here we will remain: a company devoted to helping people break barriers to success.

From that foundation I have many other strong stones to lean on. Gina, for being petite of body, is incredibly strong in determination and principles.

Life long friends, massive rocks for me to lean on. Y'all know exactly who you are.

The goals we have are built upon rock solid principles: integrity, problem solving, research backed solutions.

What are your 🪨 rocks to lean on? 🙏👇☺️🏔️

It's not that you are incapable, it's that you THINK you're not.

Mindset is the pivot point towards success or failure.

Ben Hardy and Dan Sullivan wrote an excellent book called "The Gap and The Gain".

It's really a treatise on Growth Mindset. Which is at the heart of Positive Psychology Coaching. Look for the gains, even in the losses. Try this:

1️⃣ What lessons can you take from your most recent mistake?

2️⃣ How can you apply that lesson next time you work on your goal?

3️⃣ What specific steps can you take next time that will lead to success?

It took me and my colleagues three full tries at building a successful coach training program. We had lots of redos. Lots of lessons. Lots of gains. Now, we have a solid 60+ hr certification program to take you from where you are to Certified Coach, ready to help others build their dreams.

"Are you IN the arena?" Tom Brady.

As you work towards your goals, especially goals that have strong potential for your future or the future of others, you WILL find resistance. You will experience push back from others. You will face criticism.

Opposition like that is PART of the process of doing anything worthwhile. Sometimes it's even evidence that you are on track to do something great!

The words of Tom Brady are a super helpful mindset shift to help you filter out opposition. Any opposition that comes from people that are acting like "armchair quarterbacks" should be recognized for what it is: complete garbage.

Unless a person is in the arena; meaning they are literally doing what you are doing, have done what you are doing, and actually are in the "arena" you are in...they actually have no idea what they are talking about. Therefore their opinion is worthless to your endeavor.

In positive psychology coaching we train ourselves and our clients to take advice, input, and critique ONLY from those that are IN the arena. We train our clients to set boundaries and ignore anyone outside the arena that is trying to push back on your dreams.

In a world of endless online opinions, please choose to filter out the noise and listen only to those that actually understand your situation.

Even then, filter any input against the backdrop of what God is telling you, what your core values suggest, what your ethics and morals suggest, and what your dream really is. Ultimately decisions are yours to make and yours alone.

May you achieve your dreams, goals, and deepest God given desires.

If this post resonated with you, drop "Dreams" in the comments. ☺️🙏👇

To explore is to live.

Human history is filled with exploration. Exploration leads to growth, broader perspectives, less bias, and greater empathy.

Empathy for other people and cultures.

Compassion and appreciation for the miraculous blue planet we live on.

And it doesn't take a lot of money! It does take creativity.

Gina and I found that switching our business to a purely remote model was the key.

We have worked the entire time we have traveled. Of course we took breaks to explore where we stayed.

This is why we LOVE Coaching. We connect with clients from all over the planet. Our only requirement is access to the Internet, which has easily been accomplished the whole year of exploring.

Coaching is what we are called to do: Gina is focused on fitness and nutrition coaching (she actually just finished a massive certification to add to her tool kit!). I lean towards Executive Family Systems Coaching, Positive Psychology Coaching, and Coach Training.

We practice, we coach, we train, we learn, we study, and we explore. We are so grateful to you and our many amazing clients that we have the honor to work with.

So, if you have been curious about living untethered, building an online business in coaching, reach out! We can teach you how.

Don't always drive forward with vigor, you'll burnout.

Part of the rhythm of life is breaks, frequently!
For Gina and I, and our kids, Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains and forests are a sanctuary for us. We discovered that with our family many years ago.

After this year of DEEP internal and external exploration, taking some time in Tahoe to let it all sink in has been renewing and refreshing.

Taking a break can be as simple as stopping to read a book (Kaeleb Kemp has an excellent dark fantasy novel out if you need a suggestion).

Taking a break could be a power nap or a meditation moment or prayer moment.

Frequent, meaningful, breaks give your mind and body a chance to catch up. We all know the productivity studies show that we are all more effective when we work, if we take breaks in between work sessions.

Even God has told us to take a break each week and honor the Sabbath Day! That's another very important break.

What types of breaks renew you the most? Please share! ☺️👇🙏🤍

It's not that it's hard, it's that your mind trips you up!

The protective parts of our brain try to limit us frequently as it wants to keep us safe and secure in our little bubbles.

While I am not suggesting being reckless, I AM suggesting that your brain is making your next move in life seem way harder than it actually will be.

When Gina and I mapped out this year of being digital nomads it did take considerable preparation and effort, but, really, it wasn't that hard. Sure, we have had to adapt our plans a lot during the year, however it turned out to be exactly what we needed.

It popped the bubble completely. The comfort zone was shattered and we moved into growth, literally.

We have seen this type of thing with clients over and over again: when they get out of their own way they can start moving towards and achieving greatness!

Why settle in life? Make the shift.

1️⃣ Decide upon some bigger opportunities than you have been settling for.

2️⃣ Tell your protective brain "thank you however I'm doing this anyway."

3️⃣ Get a coach now! This will help you get out of your way faster than most strategies. Whenever I talk to my coach, things click so much faster and deeply!

Drop NOW in the comments if you're ready to get out of your own way.

Many paths and many choices!

It can be overwhelming. This can lead to decision fatigue and missed opportunities.

How do we address this? Try these proven steps:

1️⃣ Build your foundation of solid guiding principles or values as your true North on your personal decision 🧭 compass.

2️⃣ Boil your options down to the top 3 options.

3️⃣ Weigh those options against your values, which one meets the most of them?

4️⃣ Hire a professional coach to talk the whole process through and set up accountability and fill in skill deficits.

"Serving others is like standing in the river of God's love."

A man said that today in church. Wow. It hit strongly.

People ask why we do what we do with our wellness company. This man's statement perfectly encompasses our WHY.

Sure, we could have made some sort of big money making business selling widgets of some sort, and don't get us wrong, those businesses have their place! We all benefit from a good widget.

However Gina and I are "people people". We are happiest when helping out our fellow sojourners.

So, our WHY, is YOU. The Greater You! We desire to help people find their joy and success. We desire to help relationships succeed. We desire to see people's businesses succeed. We desire to see people's families succeed!

After a full week of work and a great weekend with family this sunset showed up last night. A small and beautiful God Wink. I felt God's river of love while gazing at this miraculous sunset at the end of a significant week.

May you all feel the river of God's love flowing all around you! 🙏☺️🙏🤍

The mind/body connection cannot be ignored!

As a wellness company, we are always seeking to find ways to improve quality of life mentally and physically.

The famous, and now 100 year old, Dick Van D**e attributes much of his good health and longevity to waking up every morning with a positive attitude.

That ONE small shift could make a profound impact not only on how our day gets going, but it could impact our overall well being and health!

Who is with me? Wake up with a positive attitude! Start the day with a smile and a prayer of thanks! ☺️🙏
