The Dharma in the Meta Crisis: Webinar this Saturday, 3pm to 5pm NSW time. https://events.humanitix.com/dharma-in-the-meta-crisis

An Invitation to Reflect and Dialogue

Is personal awakening enough – or does compassion demand more?

What is conscientious compassion in times of crisis?

What does a world in crisis ask of dharma teachers – and those they guide?

Can the Buddhist sangha be a model for sustainable living?

Walking in the footsteps of the Buddha, we students of the dharma have learned much about remaining calm and centred, crisis or not, and have diligently cultivated within ourselves the many wholesome and heartfelt qualities the Buddha embodied. However, the questions growing louder in dharma communities around the world ask how we as dharma teachers and practitioners engage purposefully with the meta-crisis of this time.
This webinar is an invitation to explore these questions together.

I've just recommitted to sending out a more regular newsletter, a sharing of gifts gathered along the way through my study and practice of Buddhism and psychotherapy, through my own life experiences and also through the research for and contemplations about my doctorate (which is about inner and outer peace). It's called 'The Holon'

A warm Hello from Sabina

31/01/2023

Join Sabina Rabold, educator and senior mental health practitioner for the upcoming unit: Ethical Principles in Mental Health (MH904) commencing 6 February 2023.

The topics covered will be relevant to your professional life but now doubt they will also inform and even challenge your everyday way of being.

At the core, ethics are about the question” What should I/we do?” in a situation where there is not clear right or wrong.

Sabina looks forward to deepening into the many facets of ethics and how they appear in mental health and Buddhism.
