Positive Intent is believing the best of people, similar to giving the benefit of the doubt. It's also somewhat selfish to have positive intent because thinking the worst of people is exhausting and can put us in a bad mood. Assuming positive intent helps us focus on the good of people and helps us not to focus on the negative, therefore, it may help us be in a better headspace.
