Method
I went through all the individual profiles related to me and wrote down their YDNA and MTNDA. Chart it in Excel; see figure 2 Xcel attachment provided. I then converted the data into a pie chart to make it more visual. Note on the side, not everyone related to me gets included in the data. Profiles with just initial often time get excluded regardless, even if they are connected to me. I made a great effort to contact them and asked the individual if they identify as H’Mong if they don’t respond, I excluded them out. Another exclusion is profiles that do not have H’Mong last name often get excluded. One inclusion I included in the data, even though their MTDNA or YNDA is outside common H’Mong haplogroups, as long as they identify themselves as H’Mong. For example, their father is H’Mong, but their mother is European descended. If they identify themselves as H’Mong, I included them in the data. On the side, if you are female but you added your father or brother Y DNA to your profile, you automatically get log into the male category. One reason is that many profiles identify as female but have Y DNA in their profile.
A lot of them did not respond to my message for clarification. I went ahead and logged them into the male haplogroup. I do not know if they are part of the LGBTQ who identify themselves as females or actual females s*x who included their brother or father Y DNA. Because of the complexity, I lumped all profile as male.
