Places are limited to keep the experience small and personal.

What to wear?
Wellies or waterproof footwear (mind that all participants will have to walk through a footbath).
Warm clothes (very!)
We have waterproof trousers available to keep you nice and clean!
Health & Safety precautions
A R&S chat will be given at the start of the session.
Participants will walk through a footbath before entering the shed and after the session. Washing hands and no food in the shed policy.
If someone has hay/straw allergies, we recommend not to be involved with bedding and filling hay heck.
When there is life, there is death. This harsh reality applies in the lambing shed, and children need to aware of the risks prior to the session.
No children below 5 years old or pregnant women allowed in the shed for H&S reasons.

๐Ÿพ New at Farmigos CIC โ€“ Dog Therapy with Laura & Sadie ๐Ÿพ

We are delighted to introduce a new wellbeing activity at Farmigos CIC โ€“ Dog Therapy with Laura and her gentle English Labrador, Sadie ๐Ÿฆฎโค๏ธ

Laura is an experienced practitioner who currently works in a residential care setting and is also employed through the NHS. She previously worked in a school supporting children with Additional Support Needs (ASN). Alongside her professional work, Laura is also a busy mum of two daughters.

๐Ÿถ Sadie is a beautiful two-year-old English Labrador with a kind, calm and loving nature. She has been part of Lauraโ€™s family since she was 14 weeks old. Sadie loves playing with her ball, carrying her teddy and exploring with lots of sniffs. She is very gentle and relaxed, wonderful with children and adults, and super friendly with other dogs and animals. Her favourite things are **belly rubs, cuddles and spending time with people**.

๐Ÿซถ Session details
โ€ข 1:1 sessions lasting โณ๏ธ1 hour
โ€ข ยฃ25 per session
โ€ข Held on our farm in Auchengray, in our lovely Collie Hut ๐Ÿ›–

The hut is set up to create a calm and welcoming space. One side has a comfortable sofa and pillows, making a cosy and relaxing environment for the therapy session. The other side of the hut welcomes family members, where they can **relax with a cup of tea or coffee** while the session takes place.

"Grounded Futures: Animal-Based Mental Health & Wellbeing for Young People"
OPEN FOR APPLICATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE 16-24Y OLD struggling with mental health (diagnosed or not)
Please apply before Thursday 18th of December.

We are looking to apply for funding for 2x sessions per month for a year for young people to work with dogs and horses. Sessions would be 4 hours long mainly in Auchengray and free of charge for participants.
The form will help us in our application for funding. We will let you know the outcome as soon as we know. Although we can only offer the session for 8 young people this year, we are hoping the demand is higher and allow us to apply for more.

Note: if you need help with the form, let us know and we would be happy to help.
Thank you
