Foodie alert! Turns out you can score a quality Philly Cheesesteak without schlepping all the way back east... in Carlsbad has you covered - they even import authentic Italian sub rolls from Philly *just* to make this mouth-watering signature sandwich.

Foodie Community,

If you haven't experienced Shikeda Bento & Patisserie in Wailuku, run don't walk! lol There's a reason these guys sell out of their pastries within the first hour of opening (i.e., by noon Tues-Saturday).

This is a pic of their Keiki Cream Puff and he's very delicious. 😊 Their bentō and salads look awesome as well...

Sinking my teeth into an amazing caprese sandwich at this afternoon, with house-made focaccia & pesto, mozzarella di bufala, and locally grown basil & heirloom tomatoes over a bed of lightly volcano sea-salted microgreens — followed up with a lavender & vanilla latté for dessert. ☕✨
