Men's Health Week is a timely reminder that some health issues men experience are far more common than many realise — including short-term urinary incontinence.
In Australia, around 2.4 million men experience bladder or bowel incontinence, yet many delay seeking support due to embarrassment or stigma.
The good news? In many cases, particularly following prostate surgery, incontinence is temporary and can improve significantly with the right support, treatment and management strategies.
This Men's Health Week, let's encourage open conversations about continence health and remind men that they don't have to navigate these challenges alone.
