Minds in Motion is an occupational therapy practice providing quality care to children and families across the Tidewater area. Our mission is to help children develop skills that enhance their independence and support their overall happiness to function in all areas of life, including home, school, and play. We believe that the best way to do this is to encourage children to be active thinkers and participants in their therapy sessions. We pride ourselves in helping your child make generalized progress as they develop lifelong skills. We provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters a child’s strengths, taps into their motivation, and challenges them to think, move, and adapt to new situations. We also provide caretakers with adequate support and education regarding their children with disabilities and/or regulation difficulties.
