𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝓝𝓾𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓜𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓱 𝓒𝓾𝓵𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Magsaysay successfully conducted the 2026 Nutrition Month Culmination, which featured the Table Display Contest and the Awarding Ceremony. The event highlighted the municipality’s commitment to promoting proper nutrition, food security, and healthy lifestyles through active community participation.

The event was attended by 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙪𝙧 𝘿. 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣, 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙚 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚, 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝘼𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙖, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙪𝙯, whose presence demonstrated the unwavering support of the local government for the municipality’s nutrition and health programs.

Participating barangays showcased informative and creative table displays that emphasized nutrition-related programs, local food resources, and best practices in nutrition promotion. Following the evaluation, outstanding participants were recognized and awarded for their exemplary performance and contributions.

𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐘

The Municipal Health Office successfully conducted the Gulayan sa Barangay as part of its continuing efforts to promote household food security, proper nutrition, and sustainable community gardening. The activity aimed to assess the implementation and progress of barangay vegetable gardens while reinforcing the importance of producing fresh and nutritious vegetables at the community and household levels.

The evaluation was conducted by a team of evaluators composed of representatives from the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), Municipal Local Government Operations Office (MLGOO), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and the Municipal Nutrition Office (MNO). The evaluation focused on the overall management, productivity, sustainability, cleanliness, innovation, and community participation in the establishment and maintenance of the barangay vegetable gardens.

𝗥𝗛𝗨 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗘, 𝗜𝗡𝗖.

DMABAMAS ILHZ, Inc. held the Turnover Ceremony EFK HemoControl Machine and Hemoglobin Microcuvettes last June 8, 2026 at the PDOHO Conference Room, Digos City with the aim to continue supporting its member LGUs in strengthening the service delivery to the people.

The Hemocontrol machine and microcuvettes were purchased by the interlocal health zone and were given to the 5 LGUs, Digos City, Magsaysay, Bansalan, Matanao and Sta. Cruz.

The ceremony was attended by the Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Margaret Torate and the Medical Technologist, Joan De Jesus.
