✨ No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but yourself. ✨

Take a deep breath and remember that it's okay to move at your own pace.
You don't need to constantly shine or meet others' expectations.

Embrace who you truly are, with all your quirks and imperfections. Cherish your unique journey and celebrate every step you take, no matter how small.

Let your inner light shine naturall without forcing it. You are enough just as you are, and the world needs your authentic self. Believe in your worth and take pride in your individuality.

Self-care is one of the best ways to nurture your mental health.
You are allowed to take time to care for yourself physically and emotionally.

Keeping this in mind, I bring you 5 mental health reminders.
Self-care is not a selfish endeavor, it is essential.

The problem is that we create these narratives in our mind, which hamper us from moving towards self-care.
These reminders are aimed to break these narratives and open up more possibilities for you.

Prioritize self-care daily for a healthier mind and a happier you. 💚

Self-love is the most important thing you’ll do in your life.🌟

Self-love starts with liking yourself and accepting yourself. 🧘‍♀️
Respect for yourself can only be cultivated when you start valuing your opinions and thoughts.

All of this starts with thinking of yourself in positive ways.

How do you think of yourself in positive ways?✨

Positive thinking is based on surrounding yourself with positivity, self-care, forgiving yourself and accepting yourself.

Practicing mindfulness, keeping a gratitude journal, setting realistic goals, and practicing self-awareness are amazing tools that can help in positive thinking.

Today is my birthday 🎈and I want to honour myself by dedicating this post to myself. 🎈

Yesterday I saw this picture of mine, when I was in my 20’s and I thought to myself that if given a chance to go back, WHAT ADVICE WOULD I GIVE MYSELF? 🤸‍♂️

Well! I wouldn’t give my younger self any advice because the person I am, is because of everything that I faced, felt and experienced good and bad.

Every time I faced fear I learnt to be courageous, rejection taught me determination, being let down taught me to have my own back. The happy moments taught me gratitude.

One of my favourite quote is by Ziad K. Abdelnour “Appreciate what you have before time makes you appreciate what you had.”
I love birthdays, it makes me feel so blessed to be able to appreciate this beautiful life and all the attention that I get from my loved ones makes my day really special.

“It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it.” — Lou Holtz

Burnout metaphorically means to burn yourself out, that is, to exhaust yourself physically and mentally, that you cannot continue.

We bring you 6 effective ways to prevent burnout.
Self-care is the key to all these ways.

Self-care is how you get your power back.

The world can wait but our mental health can't.

We often think of our mind and body as separate, but our mental health and physical health are interconnected.

We generally ignore the signs that our body gives us, when our mental health starts taking a toll on our physical health or vice versa.

So, what should one do is what you would like to ask?

The first thing that we must do is to take a break for at least 24 hrs.

Eat well, sleep well, listen to some nice music or watch a nice movie.

Do everything that makes us happy and relaxed.

What do you do to manage your mental health?

My work entails working with people who wish to have a thriving and happy life and desire a non - judgemental, safe & supportive partnership in this journey.

🌞Having a morning routine to be successful" is not a mantra reserved only for successful CEOs and Buddhist Monks. You too should embrace it.🌞

Robin Sharma enunciates the importance of having a morning routine to achieve your life goals

One of the first concepts that he introduces in his book is the 20/20/20 formula.

Have a successful & energetic day ahead by applying this formula in your life.

Get up at 5 AM.

🌞For the first 20 minutes, you need to MOVE.
Exercise intensely, sweat profusely, and breathe deeply. Drink lots and lots of water.

This will increase your focus, productivity, and energy It will also reduce your stress and elongate your life.

🌞For the next 20 minutes, you need to REFLECT.
You have got a full day ahead, so plan it.
Write your journal.
Express Gratitude.
Meditate.
Practice Mindfulness.

You will increase your creativity and your performance during the day.

🌞For the last 20 minutes, you need to GROW.
Review your goals, read books, listen to podcasts, or study online. This will motivate you and you will witness personal growth.

👉🏽There is no strict rule that this has to be divided into 20 minutes periods only. The point is to do it for at least 20 minutes & give all these things some time in order to have a productive day.

🌞Robin Sharma says, "Own your Morning, Elevate your life". 🌞

{PART 2} The act of forgiveness is actually quite misunderstood.
Most of us think that forgiveness will only benefit the person who hurt us.
But that is not the case.

Forgiveness is a remedy for your anger, guilt, and all the negative feelings.

To forgive is to let go of these negative feelings.
It is a way to address these negative feelings.
In the course of forgiveness, we understand the what, when, and why of these negative feelings.
Only then can we eliminate them.

One of the ways to forgive is the R.E.A.C.H model, the origin of which can be traced to Mr. Everett Worthington, clinical psychologist and professor of psychology based in Virginia, United States.

Through this technique, you can not only identify and address the negative feelings but systematically forgive the other person who did harm to you.

Gratitude to all 🌺
It is with the combined efforts of my clients and me that leads to the successful completion of a therapy.

Breakups after long periods of relationships can take a toll on a person.

It is not only a mental struggle but this stress can also hurt one physically.

Sometimes it is too much to take, and it is okay.
It is okay that your mind gets messed up after a breakup.

It is okay that your focus deviates.
We are only humans and not machines.

Every time I post a client testimonial, I encourage people to look at therapy as a boon and not a bane.

Therapy is just “work” on you and not something that is only for the scarred.

If you want to work on yourself, and you want to improve yourself mentally, you can opt for therapy.

And therapy starts with you. It is you who needs to decide that “if a breakup is too much and it is taking a toll on me, I must seek therapy”.

It is only a text away.
So reach out.

Because, post-therapy, you will be lively as a child. You will be bouncy as a happy dog. You will be sharp as an eagle.

You will hold the ability to become the best version of yourself. Because you will be free of all the stress that was previously stopping you.

Feelings can get you all up and they can also get you all down.

Our feelings are like those small momentary forces acting upon to build something bigger.

We feel happiness, we feel sadness. We feel anger, anxiety, all of them.

Each momentary feeling pushes us in some direction or the other. They are like little voices in our ears.

Contemplating and trying to change how you feel for every single second is a mammoth task. It is also a futile exercise.

What you need to do is feel every moment.

Accept every moment.
Your feelings are yours. Acknowledge them to the fullest.

But while you legitimize your feelings, remember that they don’t control you.

Feelings are important but they are merely reactions to external happenings.

Maintain a safe distance from your feelings.

You cannot let them define you.
They are only reactionary.

Be who you truly are, and not a reaction to a situation.

But sometimes, it can be a little difficult to truly comprehend what is going on.

Sometimes, it gets confusing.
In these hard times, don’t be afraid to seek help. Don’t be afraid to reach out. 🤍

My work entails working with people who wish to have a thriving and happy life and desire a non - judgmental, safe & supportive partnership in this journey.
