If someone has a considerable amount of excess BF and they’re not losing weight “in a deficit”. They’re not in a deficit.

Ask what they consider being in a deficit to be?

There’s no special weight loss foods, its context of entire diet and albeit macronutrients are important for health and body composition. For weight loss calories dictate.

Common thing i find is people don’t eat enough vegetables, especially considering health & longevity benefits. Other than saying “eat your veggies”
I try & come up with ideas . So naturally ask the boss who loves cooking. Its like asking Ai 😃
Here’s the solution. Non fried lo cal tasty veggie snack 🙌🏻

You can also mix and add ingredients to suite taste. If you have any questions re that DM on insta and i can work out the macro changes if any.
….and no i won’t charge or try and sell u something.

Albeit various scenarios can make achieving goals harder.
They don’t negate the mechanism required to achieve.

You play the cards you’re dealt with in order to achieve a sustainable approach that works for you. If its not working, it’s the wrong approach. If you’re focusing on issues caused by your weight gain and not what actually caused your weight gain. You’re going to be missing the wood for the trees.

Ok sometimes i gotta train the boss. Caroline trains 2x per week when she can. She full time cares for her mum too & works.
Traditionally we have only worked with RDL but few months back decided we were going to work on full DL

She can get 55-60 out but not for insta 👀

At 56 and 48kg BW its going well. Also bone density up over 5% in areas over last 12mths (as per dexa and endo)

Deadlifts are my absolute favorite. If I could only choose one lift for the rest of my life, this would be it. While I know I’m not perfect and there are always stronger and weaker lifters out there. My focus is on my own journey. Or my clients from a work perspective.

Over the past two years I’ve made significant progress, adding 40 kg to my deadlift. My goal for the next two years is to add another 40 kg. Approaching 57 in just three months doesn’t change the focus.

Despite a four month setback beginning in December I never gave up. I refuse to subscribe to the notion that age limits my potential. A huge thank you to my coach .fraser and my physio for their support.

I don’t buy into the idea that those over 30 or 40 shouldn’t lift heavier. I train as hard as I can whenever I can, and I’m stronger now than I was in my 20s. Even though I didn’t start lifting until my 40s.

If you let negative thoughts creep in you’ll never reach your true strength potential. In my opinion that mindset leads to unnecessary injuries. Ones you could have worked around or even avoided by building strength.

Surround yourself with a great team and keep pushing forward 👊🏻

Anything is better than nothing. But let’s not negate whats required for increased bone density and muscle mass.

Thinking of getting a coach for 2026?

Data shows you’ll achieve better, quicker with than without. As shown here across three groups of experienced gym users. By self, with a training partner and last group with a trainer. With a trainer excelled in fat free mass, body strength and reduced injuries. The trained group was clear winners especially if you want to achieve results more efficiently with less chance of injury in a time frame.

I wouldn’t of achieved what i have as efficiently as i have without a coach as studies support 🤷🏻‍♂️
