Everyone sees this version of me now.
The glow. The confidence. The strength.
And they clap.
“Wow, you’re glowing.”
“You look so healthy.”
“How’d you do it?”
But let me tell you something…
this version of me would not exist
without the girl in the second photo.
And no one clapped for her.
She was hiding in sweatpants, yes.
But it wasn’t just her body she was hiding from.
She was bloated, breaking out, exhausted.
She felt like a stranger in her own body.
But she’s the one who made the decision.
She’s the one who kept going after failing 100 times.
She’s the one who stopped chasing quick fixes and chose to get to the root.
She’s the one who started eating to fuel her hormones instead of starving herself smaller.
She’s the one who forced herself to go to bed when all she wanted to do was numb out and scroll.
She’s the one who stripped it back, changed it all and cried through the discomfort of change
and still showed up.
And that is the only reason this version of me exists today.
So yeah, people might clap louder now.
But the truth?
All the credit belongs to her.
Because without her pain, her persistence, her decision to rebuild from the inside out, there would be no “after.”
And if you’re stuck in your “before” right now…
tired, disconnected, doubting if you’ll ever feel like yourself again…
this is your proof.
You can rebuild too.
But only if you decide, like she did,
that you’re worth the work🤍
