The work of Birth Small Talk is so important, particularly for those planning a VBAC. If you haven't read this blog post before, or listening to her speak on the topic of fetal monitoring, go forth. She also links a conversation she and Hazel Keedle had in the comments of her post too 👌

CTG monitoring during vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC) is often deemed essential, but evidence suggests it does not prevent uterine rupture. Abnormal fetal heart rate patterns indicatin…

A gentle last call for anyone who has been following along, quietly contemplating...

Honestly I'm pretty launched out at this point (I was warned it would be draining, I should've listened 😜) but this is a final hurrah for those who haven't yet jumped on board but want to take advantage of the sale.

The course will continue to be available year round - it's not going anywhere, it's not closing, this is by no means a "hard sell" moment.

However, if you know this will be on your list to do this year, it's a lifetime access course and you can save 25% right now.

Send to your VBAC planning friends and fam, let your VBAC clients know - this course is the foundational knowledge and self development any woman planning a VBAC deserves to have access to 💖

You know where to find me if you need to know more x

Thank you again for all your support and particularly to every wonderful woman who has joined us in the course so far and trusted me to teach them 🥹

For a lot of women, the conversation around VBAC starts with the body.

“What went wrong?”
“Will it happen again?”
“Can my body actually do this?”

Underneath it all is a question of trust.

Whether it was shaken from your caesarean, or maybe was never fully there to begin with.

This part of VBAC preparation doesn’t get spoken about as much.

But it is so important.

Because how you feel about your body influences how you make decisions.

The woman who doesn't believe in her body anymore is the first one to book in a repeat caesarean for 39 weeks when she hasn't yet laboured, despite only 5% of women labouring before 39 weeks.

It takes courage to put your faith in your body again, and it takes patience to rebuild the trust.

And it's just another step on the path to a VBAC that many women don't give as much thought as maybe they should.

If you're on the journey to a VBAC and want to get there in confidence and with certainty, comment VBAC for the link to the course, or check it out via the ol' b.i.o. ❤️💪
