Monday Morning Gratitude: Lord, I am so thankful for my family. I do not deserve these beautiful humans. I cannot put into words how grateful I am that they get to be my people, the people I do life with. They are my life’s work. Everything I do is for you and them. Please let this week be filled with eye opening clarity for everyone that nothing is more important than the work we do within our homes. Amen.

With the development of our healthcare cannabis course , I’ve found an indispensable tool in , a comprehensive database dedicated to medical cannabis research.

In nursing school, we relied heavily on databases to conduct literature reviews and gain insight into various medical treatments and procedures. This spoke to me today, so I thought I would share. Keep in mind our calling in life may have nothing to do with our career choices.

Your calling is going to crush you.

💔If you are called to mend the brokenhearted, you are going to wrestle with a broken heart.

👦🏻If you are called to heal God’s little ones, you are going to experience your own share of trauma.

🪨If you’re called to preach and teach the gospel, you WILL be sifted for the wisdom that anoints your message.

🪞If you are called to empower, your self-esteem will be attacked- your successes hard fought.

⚔️Your calling will come with spiritual warfare and a sifting - BOTH are necessary for your mantle to be authentic, humble and powerful.

Your crushing won’t be easy because your assignment is not easy - and you can’t minister POWERFULLY what you haven’t walked out. Read that sentence again.

🕊When you’re feeling the weight of it coming down on you, RUN to the Father who longs to be your comfort. Let him whisper your true identity over you while resting under the shadow of his wings. Position yourself against his heartbeat. Let him renew your strength and set your eyes forward. No olives, no oil. No grapes, no wine.

Your oil is not cheap my friend.

In addition to anesthesia I have a real passion for plant based therapies and other holistic and integrative approaches to medical care.

This journey has opened my eyes to so many things I was never taught in all my years of higher education. For a few years now I have felt a burning desire to provide this information to other healthcare professionals like myself who never had the opportunity to learn different approaches to prevent and treat illnesses. As healthcare professionals, we committed to life long learning and we must never become complacent in our practice.

Along with my partners at I am so proud to finally announce the availability of our Medical Canna Nurse Certification Course!

I will never forget the feelings I experienced during my cardiac rotation. Standing at the head of the bed seemed akin to a pilot in a cockpit. All the monitors, pumps, equipment, drips. Equal parts excited and terrified. By the end of that rotation I felt more prepared than ever before.

I will also never forget the kindness and grace shown by those helping me to learn and grow as an anesthesia provider. Not every learning opportunity has a conducive environment for learning, but being set up for success really gave me the confidence I needed to propel into my practice.

Some of the most amazing and encouraging people I’ve encountered are CRNAs and I am so blessed to be a part of the group.

Happy CRNAs week! I hope you all are getting pizza and cookie cake everyday this week!
