Training
Days out with my babes
Lots of good food
More training… a little proud moment, finally leg pressing over 200kg

In between all of that, building businesses, chaotic days, and some exciting news - we’re getting an office 😀

🌱THIS IS A HUGE STEP FORWARD🌱

🌱On Tuesday at the European Congress of Endocrinology in Prague, endocrinologist Helena Teede from announced that it will now be known as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS).

🌱The old name focused mainly on “cysts” (which are actually follicles), while many women experience symptoms affecting their entire body - including hormones, metabolism, insulin resistance, energy, weight, skin, mood, and fertility.

🌱The new name aims to better reflect the true nature of the condition as a whole-body hormonal and metabolic disorder.

The goals behind the change:
• Improve diagnosis rates
• Reduce stigma and confusion
• Increase awareness and research
• Better represent women’s real experiences

This change followed a 14-year international effort involving 56 health organisations and more than 14,000 patients and healthcare professionals.

PMOS affects around 1 in 8 women worldwide and can impact metabolic health, fertility, and long-term risk of conditions like Type 2 diabetes.

What are your thoughts on the new name? ⬇️

Cortisol isn’t something you need to “fix”.

It’s something you support.

Healthy cortisol follows a rhythm: higher in the morning, lower at night.
And simple habits can help keep that rhythm working well.

🌱Stress management (mindfulness, meditation, therapy)
🌱Regular movement
🌱Good sleep and consistent routines
🌱Whole, minimally processed foods
🌱Being mindful of caffeine

Don’t rely on supplements. It’s the lifestyle patterns that make the difference.

If this is you, please know this:
It’s not a willpower problem.
It’s not a discipline issue.
And it’s definitely not a personal failure.

For many women (not just in perimenopause), nights are when:
• your kids are in bed, you can finally relax and your body slows down
• restriction from the day catches up
• food feels like comfort, not “lack of control”

When you don’t eat enough, restrict too much, or push through stress all day, your body responds the only way it knows how, by asking for relief.

🌱The solution isn’t more rules.
🌱It’s better support, consistency, and understanding what your body actually needs now.

Weight loss isn’t easy, it does take work.

But the real goal isn’t being perfect.

It’s about building healthy habits that fit your life and that you can actually sustain long-term.

That’s where real, lasting change comes from. 💛

If your energy dips by mid-morning, crashes in the afternoon, or completely disappears by 3pm, you’re not alone.

And no, it’s not just about sleep or caffeine.
Food plays a big role in how steady your energy feels throughout the day.

The good news? You don’t need an overhaul. Small shifts in what and when you eat can make a real difference. Starting with protein, staying hydrated, and balancing carbs often matter more than we realise.

Swipe through for simple, realistic ways to eat that support your energy, focus, and mental clarity.

🌱While meal plans work for some, it’s essential to explore deeper roots.
