I have a (creepy) story to share while Iâm drinking my morning coffee. Maybe youâll sit with your cup while youâre reading, too.
A few weeks ago my best friend got married. I packed up some things for myself and the kids and thought âI should bring my cards, her gram might be there.â
Her gram, someone that I had never met but heard stories about since we were in 4th grade, was in fact there. I was so excited to finally meet her. I had heard stories far and wide about things like âdonât put your hand on a random hand print from a window or youâll open a doorwayâ, the meaning of colors or creepy things that happen always had some kind of explanation, and when my friend bought her her first Tarot deck her gram took to them like she had always been reading them. Sheâs such an intuitive lady. I was so eager to finally meet her.
Sheâs honestly the basis of our friendshipâwe have so many things in common in regards to the paranormal and itâs all because of her grams influence.
Anyways, Iâm sitting with her gram and I pull out my cards. I have my Memento Mori deck thinking maybe she would love it. She pulls the horseshoe and tells me that it signifies strength and family. And then she pulls out of the middle, this cardâthe Casket. She looks at me seriously and points at the white flowers and says âsomeone may look at this and say âoh, look at the pretty flowers!ââ And then she grabs my wrist and points at the casket âgrab their arm and feel for their pulse like Iâm doing to you right now, if it stays racing tell them youâre not going to read for them today. Theyâre bad.â
I am still so blown away and kind of creeped out but also have so much more respect for her gram than I did before.
Not to mention an old ghost came up later that week. Im not sure that she realizes, but she probably knows, that she had given me a strong message about treading lightly and walking on eggshells.
You canât read for everyone and I most often have an anxiety attack around those bad energies anyways.
