March 19, 2026| A productive courtesy call was held by the Department of Health – Epidemiology Bureau (DOH-EB) and the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (US-CDC) with City Mayor Hon. Angelo B. Alonte and City Health Officer Dr. Arlene Alonte Ancheta.

Biñan City has been selected as a pilot site for the Gabay Bakuna initiative, a significant step toward enhancing the surveillance system and strengthening local capacity in addressing Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPDs).

As part of this initiative, the first orientation session was successfully conducted at Perpetual Help Medical Center – Biñan, bringing together key stakeholders committed to advancing immunization efforts and disease surveillance.

This collaboration marks another milestone in ensuring a healthier and more resilient Biñan! 💙💉
